Soldier Boy Heard From.
Miss Rosa King is in receipt of
a letter from her brother, Sam King, who is now in
France. Sam was well when the letter was written in
September, but his regiment has been in battle since
then and his friends here all hope that he is still
well.
Walker E. and Arthur E. West,
sons of Mr. and Mrs. M. F. West, who lived south of
town, are both on the battle front. Walker E. Wrote his
mother recently that he was wounded in the neck, but
that he was getting all right and he knew that he got
two Huns before he was shot.
Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Anderson of
Pursley had a letter from their son, James, yesterday.
It will be remembered that he was severely wounded on
June 6, and he writes that he is still in the hospital
but is doing well.
