S/Sgt. Paul R. Grant, son of J. C. Grant, attended Frost Schools.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army at Ft. McIntosh, Laredo.  Has served in France, was wounded 1945, now on duty at William Boughmont, El Paso.  Has Purple Heart.

Pfc. Howard A. Grant, son of J. C. Grant, husband of the former Miss Louise Butler, attended Frost Schools.  Trained at Jefferson Barracks with Army and now stationed at Jefferson Barracks.
GRANT, JOHNNY E.
S/Sgt. Johnny E. Grant, son of Mrs. Bessie Grant and the late W. O. Grant, Kerens, graduated from Kerens High School.  Mobilized with Natl. Guard, 1940, trained at Camp Bowie, Texas and Camp Edwards, Mass.  Has served in N. Africa, Italy.  Honorably discharged, 1945.  Has the Good Conduct Ribbon, American Defense, and E.T.O. Ribbons, with 3 stars.

GRANTHAM, WENDEL F.
T/Sgt. Wendel F. Grantham, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Grantham, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Katheleen Potts, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1939, trained with Air Corps at Kelly Field, Chanute Field, and Gardner Field, Cal.  Now on duty at a B-29 Base in India.
GRAVES, VIRGIL L.
Sgt. Virgil L. Graves, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Graves, Kerens, husband of the former Eleanor Godleski, graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered Air Corps July, 1942, trained at Love Field, Dallas, Cedar Rapids, Mich.  Now on duty as instructor at Sheppard Field, Texas.
GRAVES, FREDERICK L.
Sgt. Fredrick L. Graves, son of Mr. William Thomas Graves, Mertens, husband of the former Miss Florence Bea Blake, Frost, attended Mildred High School.  Entered service, 1943, trained at Indian Town Gap, Fort Hamilton and Ft. Lawton.  Has served in New Guinea, killed in action, 1944, near Admiralty Islands.

GRAY, HEWERT G.
Capt. Hewert G. Gray, husband of the former Miss Varna Wright, Corsicana, attended Illinois Schools.  Trained at Corsicana Field, Kelly Field.  Instructed at San Angelo, Greenville.  Flew 35 missions over Tokyo with 21st Bomber Command, on B-29, now on duty at Muroc, California as Instructor of Special Combat.  Has Air Medal, 4 Clusters, D.F.C., and Oak Leaf Clusters.
GRAY, LEE A.
S/Sgt. Lee Gray, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Gray, Corsicana.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1940, trained with Air Corps and Brooks Field, and Kelly Field.  Has served in N. Africa, Sicily, Italy, China, India, and Burma, now enroute home after 32 months overseas.  Has the 4 Bronze Stars.
GRAY, HARRELL
S 1/C Harrel Gray, husband of the former Miss Helen Reames, graduate of Emhouse High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Navy at Camp Wallace, and Norfolk, Va.  Has served on Okinawa, now on duty on the U.S.S. Shangri-La in the Pacific.

T/Sgt. Alvin H. Gray, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Gray, Corsicana, graduate of Emhouse High School.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Army Signal Corps at Ft. Monmouth, Camp Claiborne and Lake Charles.  Has served in Ireland, England, N. Africa, Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium and Holland, now on duty in France.  Has 4 Campaign Stars and Expert Rifleman's Badge.

S/Sgt. Buford D. Gray, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Gray, Kerens.  Wife the former Madra E. Carson.  Graduate of Kerens High School and University of Texas.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, training at Bowman Field, Ky., Dunnellon, Fla.  Served in North Africa, Germany.  Has ETO Campaign Ribbon, Battle Stars, Purple Heart.  Wounded April, 1945, in Germany.
GRAY, L. E.
Pvt. L. E. Gray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gray, Kerens, graduated from Kerens High School and attended John Tarleton, Stephenville.  Entered the Air Corps as Cadet Nov 2, 1944.  Trained at Keesler Field, Miss., and is now on duty at Lowry Field, Denver, Colo.
GRAYSON, LESLIE G.
Pfc. Leslie G. Grayson, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Grayson, Dallas.  Wife is the former Opal D. Burney, Graduate of Streetman High School.  Entered the Army Infantry in 1943, training at Camp Wheeler, Ga.  Served in England, France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.  Now on duty in Germany.  Has 5 Battle Stars.
GREEN, CORBEN L.
Pfc. Corbin L. Green,, son of Mr and Mrs Sam Green, Frost. Attended Emmett School. Entered service in 1942, training with Coast Artillery, at Camp Wallis and in the Hawaiian Islands. Served on Saipan. Is Now somewhere in Pacific.

Pfc. Collin O. Green,son of Mr.and Mrs. Sam Green, Frost. Graduate of Emmett High School. Entered service in 1942. Trained with Air Corps at Lubbock, Amarillo, California, ariz., and Ill. Has four Diplomas as a Gunner Mechanic. Now on duty in Illinois.

Pfc. William W. Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Green, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service June, 1944, training in the Army at Camp Joseph T. Robinson and Little Rock, Ark.  Wounded May 15, 1945 on Okinawa.  Is now on duty in the S.W. Pacific.

S 1/C Hickman L. Green, son of Mrs. E. L. Green, Wife, the former ruby York, Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1944, training in the Navy at San Diego and Keyport, Washington.  Served in Honolulu, Admiralties, Hollandia, New Guinea.  Now on duty in Philippines.
