My ggg grandmother, Silvisa Tarver was b. c 1825 in Lawrence Co., MS d. ?, she married Henry Castelow s/o James B. Castellaw. Silvisa is the mother of Mary Louise Castelow.

Martha A. Castillaw b. 12/8/1859 d. 9/16/1925 was the d/o James Monroe Castellaw and Sarah Ann Stough Castellaw (both of who died in Navarro Co., and are buried in Dresden Cemetery). Martha and John are buried in Ellis Co., Texas. Martha A. Castillaw's father James was an uncle to my gg grandmother Mary Louise Castelow.

James C. "Doc" Castellow was the half brother to my ggg grandfather Henry Castelow, father of my gg grandmother Mary Louise Castelow who was m. to Solomon L. Courtney.  My gg grandparents who are buried in Blooming Grove Cemetery.

Alfred Flower Hatley was b. 12/2/1863 and died 2/28/1950 he married Margaret Bell Stephens b. 3/18/1864 died 10/18/1933 on 3/18/1883 in Randolph Co., AR. John Miles Hatley was b. 6/20/1905 and died 7/10/1981. Photo taken cir 1915/1918.

Jesse J. Hatley s/o Alfred Flower Hatley and Margaret Bell Stephens Hatley, Plony Ann Couch Hatley d/o Jesse Pinkney Couch and Nancy Catherine Raines. Jesse and Plony are buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery.

Castellaw Connections (My gg grandmother was Mary Louise Castelow who wasmarried to Solomon L. Courtney and whose daughter, Mary Ann Courtney was married to Samuel L. Duncan s/o Noah M. Duncan and Malinda Heard.)

James Ellis b. 6/14/1818 KY, d. 6/20/1890 Denton Co., TX m. Mary Parker b. 6/15/1819 in Guilford Co., NC d. 12/30/1902 Denton Co., TX. James and Mary are my ggg grandparents. They are the great grandparents of Earl Ellis, WWII veteran buried in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery, Corsicana, Texas and the parents of Captain "Cap" Marvin Ellis (who was killed in Corsicanaon Christmas Eve, 1932, by a hit and run driver) who is buried in Rice Cemetery, Rice, Texas. This photo was taken 3/10/1890 on their 50thwedding anniversary.
