Pvt. James O. Blackmon, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Blackmon, husband of Mrs. Estelle Blackmon, attended Pursley Schools.  Entered Army 1941, trained at Camp Hood and now doing Construction Work in Pacific.
BLACKMON, MALDON L.
Pfc. Maldon L. Blackmon, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Blackmon, husband of the former Miss Hazel Henery, attended Pursley schools.  Entered Army, 1942, trained at Camp Barkley.  Has served in France, and Germany, wounded in Germany, 1944, now on duty in France.  Has Purple Heart.
BLACKMON, SAMUEL E.
Sgt. Samuel E. Blackmon, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Blackmon, husband of Mrs. Mildred Blackmon, attended Pursley Schools.  Entered the Marines, 1939, trained at San Diego.  Now on duty in Pearl Harbor.

Pfc. Judson A. Blackmon, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Blackmon, husband of the former Miss Starley Wilson, attended Corsicana High High School, Entered Army 1944, trained at Camp Robinson and Van Dorn.  Has served in France and Germany, no won duty in Ulm, Germany.  Has Battle Star and Bronze Star, Infantry Combat Badge and other Honors.
BLACKMON, CURTIS J.
F 1/C Curtis J. Blackmon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Blackmon, husband of the former Miss Hael Tapley, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy, Feb. 10, 1944, trained at San Diego and San Francisco, Cal.  Now on duty somewhere in the South Pacific.

Cpl. John D. Blake, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Blake, Frost, attended Blooming Grove Schools. Entered Army Air Corps, 1941, trained at Ft. George Wright, Washington. Has served in England, and now on duty in France.

S. J. B. Blakney, husband of the former Miss Thyna Mae Trent, Enlisted in the Navy, March 1944, trained in San Diego, Calif.  Has served in New Guinea and Philippines, now on duty somewhere in South Pacific.

Pfc. Bernice W. Bland, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Bland, Corsicana, husband of the former Dessie Fay Bolton.  Entered the Army Air Corps, 1944, trained at Sheppard Field.  Has served and now on duty at Dover Air Base, Dover, Del.
BLESSING, O. B.
Lt. O. B. Blessing, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Blessing, husband of the former Miss Alice Fay Champion graduate of Blooming Grove High School.  Entered the Air Corps, 1942, trained at San Antonio.  Has served in England, France, Belgium and Germany, now on duty in San Antonio.
BLISSETT, BILLIE JOE
PFc. Billie Joe Blissett, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Blissett, formerly of Kerens, husband of the former Miss Rosemary Nuschler, attended Kerens High School.  Entered Coast Artillery Corps,  1940, trained at Camp Bowie.  Has served in India-Burma Theater of Operations, Honorable Discharged July, 1945. Has the Asiatic-American Theater Ribbon, AD Ribbon, and 2 Bronze Stars.

Yoeman 3/C Charles E. Blissett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blissett, Kerens, Tex.  Graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered the Navy 1944, training at Camp Wallace, Tex. USNTS, San Diego, Calif.  Served in Hawaii and is now at Pearl Harbor.  Awarded Certificate of Honor by CO as Typical Sailor.
BLUE, DANIEL W., JR.
MM 1/C Daniel W. Blue Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Blue, Sr., Corsicana.  Wife, the former Kathryn Parrish.  Graduate of Corsicana, attended State University.  Entered service 1941.  Trained with Navy Reserves at Dallas.  Served in Pacific.  Wounded 1944 and is now in hospital at Sun Valley, Idaho.  Has Purple Heart, Good Conduct Ribbon, Bronze Star, Silver Star, Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon.

BOBBITT, HOMER L.
T/Sgt. Homer L. Bobbitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bobbitt, Kerens, graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered the Air Corps April 1942, training at Camp Robinson, Ark./,Ft. Sam Houston.  Served in England and is now on duty with 9th Air Corps in France.

1st Sgt. Burney Bobkoff, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Bobkoff, Corsicana.  Graduate of Ennis.  Entered service, 1942, training at Camp Hann.  Served in Asiatic-Pacific Theater.  Has Ribbons with Bronze Stars, Bronze Arrowhead, Combat Inf. Badge.  Discharged 1945.

Kenneth B. Bobkoff, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Bobkoff, Corsicana.  Graduate of Corsicana schools and attended A. & M.  Entered service, 1945.  Trained with Merchant Marines at Avalon, Calif.  Now on duty at Washington, D.C.

Pfc. Wilford J. Bohn, son of Mrs. W. S. Herod, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1939, training at Virginia, Illinois, and Ft. Benning, Ga.  Served in Germany and France where he is now on duty.  Wears Good Conduct Medal and Purple Heart.

Sgt. Newton Bond, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bond, Corsicana.  Wife the former Elizabeth Ray.  Attended Kerens School.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained in Kansas, Utah and Calif.  Served in South Pacific and is now in the Philippines.

Pfc. Hayden Bond, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bond, Corsicana, husband of the former Esther Atkins.  Graduated from Round Prairie School.  Entered the Army March 2, 1942.  Trained at Camp Hulen, Texas.  Served in England and N. Africa.  Has Battle Stars and is now on duty in Italy.
