FREELAND, JOE D., JR.
T/Sgt. Joe D. Freeland, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Freeland, Dawson, graduate of Dawson High School.  Entered service 1941, trained with Air Corps at Jefferson Barracks, and Chanute Field, commissioned at Dyersburg, tenn.  Has completed 33 missions over North Africa and Italy, missing in action over Australia since 1944.  Has Air Medal with 4 Oak Clusters.

AM 2/C Guy W. Freeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben F. Freeman, Dallas, husband of the former Miss Florine Buckalew, attended Barry Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Navy at Dallas and Hutchins, Kansas.  Now on Board U.S.S. Bennington in the Pacific.
