ALEXANDER BLISSETT
Pvt. Alexander Blissett, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. W Blissett of Corsicana,
was born in Stewart County, Georgia, December 23, 1892. Received his
education in the rural schools. On June 24, 1918, entered the United
States service with the 12th Veterinary Hospital, which trained at Camp
Lee, Virginia. On October 13, 1918, sailed for overseas duty and was
stationed at Commercy, France, until December 24, 1918, when he was sent
into Germany with the Army of Occupation, remaining in that country until
May 28. On July 24, 1919, he was granted his discharge.
