Pvt. Claude Collins, of Corsicana, was born January 5, 1894, and educated in the rural schools of Navarro County.  Entered the service June 8, 1917, and was attached to Troop F, 1st Texas Cavalry.  Went overseas in May, 1918.  Participated in the St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne drives.  Discharged in January, 1919.
