CLYDE FETTY—

Clyde was born on 14 Mar 1895 in Winnie, TX. His father was Alfred A Fetty. He was working as a farmer for E. Scott in Richland, TX, at the time he signed the draft card. He was single, medium height and build with grey eyes and black hair.

Clyde entered service Apr 26, 1918 and trained at Camp Travis, TX. He served as a private in Co D, 359 Inf, 90 Division.

On 01 Nov 1918 he was instantly killed in action at the fighting in Mouse, in the Verdun Sector. He was buried at in Plot B Row 34 Grave 17 Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery, Romagne, France.

He had a brother to also serve from Navarro, William Rufus Fetty.
