MEMORIAL PLANS
GIVEN ENDORSEMENT OF EDUCATOR
The following letter of endorsement plans of the Corsicana Lions Club is
well worth reading and pondering by those who have not yet contributed
to the fund for its erection.
Corsicana Daily Sun
Corsicana, Texas
Dear Sirs, It is a pleasure to have the privilege of endorsing the
movement of providing a memorial for the solders who lost their
lives in the World War representing in our army Navarro county.
What they did, and the price which they paid was so much more than
the best appreciation which we can show that everyone of us should
have some part in this testimonial of regard for the men and their deeds
Hundreds of Children in the Corsicana Public Schools in the Corsicana
Public Schools have contributed to the fund. It is a pleasure for me to
add my own contribution in theirs.
Yours very sincerely, H. D. Fillers.
