Carl Dean Hatley was born on May 6, 1921 to Jessie J. & Plony Ann
(Couch) Hatley. He attended school in Chatfield, Navarro County, Texas. Carl served in World War II. He trained with the Navy at Dan Diego. Carl served as Seaman Second Class in South Pacific. He received a medical discharge in 1943. On June 25, 1943, he married Emma Louise Ellis at the Navarro County Courthouse in Corsicana Texas. Carl and Emma's children are Carl Dean Hatley, Jr. and Carolyn Dianne Hatley. Carl died on June 26, 1984 and is buried at the Rose Hill Cemetery at Blooming Grove, Navarro County, Texas.

OBITUARY
Carl Dean Hatley
Carl Dean Hatley, 63, of Hubbard, died Tuesday.
Services were to be at 4 p.m. Monday at Dubank Funeral Home Chapel in Hubbard
with Mike Sims and Dorman Vardeman officiating. Burial was to follow in
Blooming
Grove Cemetery.
A Frost Native, Hatley was a retired shoe and boot shop owner. He was a veteran
of World War II and a member of the Odd Fellows and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Louise; a daughter, Carolyn Hobbs of Duncanville; s
son, Carl Dean Hatley Jr. of Dallas County; two sisters, Opal Bilbreath of
Stamford and Sue Dell Burns of Adkins; three brothers, Wayne Hatley of Blooming
Grove, Ralph Hatley of Stamford and Floyd Hatley of Coolidge; and his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Jessie J. Hatley of Hubbard.
