Sgt. Elwyn Hargrave, son of Mrs. Dollie Hargrave.  Entered service July 5, 1940, trained at Ft. Sam Houston and Ft. Bragg, N.C.  Killed Aug. 5, 1941, on duty as M.P. at Fort Bragg.

HARRIS, JERREL
Pvt. Jerrel Harris, son of the late Mrs. Charles B. Harris and Mrs. Effie Bonner, husband of the former June Cambridge, attended Mildred High School.  Entered service March 1944, trained with 1st Division of Marines at San Diego.  Has served on Okinawa and Guadalcanal, now on duty somewhere in Pacific.  Has Good Conduct and Gunners Medals.

Pfc. James C. Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cooper Harris, Streetman, husband of the former Miss Madelyn O'Neal, graduate of Streetman Schools.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Marines at Oceanside, Cal.  Has served in Hawaiian Island and was killed at Hilo, Hawaii, Sept. 21, 1944.

Sgt. Vance E. Harris, son of Mrs. Ruth Cherry, Streetman, graduate of Streetman High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Medical Air Corps at Robins Field, Ga.  Now on duty at Robins Field.  Has Good Conduct Medal.

College.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at San Diego.  Has served in England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Africa, and Cuba, now on duty at the Fire Control School, Norfolk.

Harris, husband of the former Miss Estell Gardner attended Corsicana High School and Texas University.  Entered Air Corps. 1942, trained at Hondo.  Has served in Southwest Pacific, now on duty at Randolph Field.  Has Air Medal with 2 Clusters, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 2 Stars, and Southwest Pacific Ribbon with 5 Stars.

Cpl. Charles E. Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Harris, Blooming Grove, husband of the former Miss Vera Mae Henderson, graduate of Barry High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Roberts and McChord Field, Washington, now on duty at Okinawa.

Harrison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Harrison, Corsicana.  Husband of former Miss Evelyn Cobb.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with 79th Inf. and transferred to 8th Air Force.  Has served in France, Germany, England.  Wounded in action 18 Nov. 1944, now on duty Sioux Falls, S.D. Received Combat Inf. Badge Victory Medal, E.T.O. & Purple Heart.
