S/Sgt. James E. Hatley, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. V. Hatley, Rice,
husband of the former Miss Alice Glorine Woods, graduated at Rice
High School. Entered A.C. in 1941, trained at Foster Field,
Victoria, Harlingen, and Randolph Field Texas, Chanute Field Ill.,
and Greensboro, N.C. Has served in Africa, China, now on
duty at India. Has Good Conduct, Air Medals, and
Distinguished Flying Cross.

married on July 12, 1947.
James moved to Fort Worth when he married Orlena. He worked
at General Dynamics in Fort Worth for 30+ years. He's buried at
Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth.
