Pfc. Auty L. Hayes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Auty Hayes, attended Richland School. Entered Service, 1944, trained with Army Infantry at Camp Wolters.  Has served in France, Germany, and in Australia, where now on duty, wounded in May, 1945.  Has Combat Infantryman's Badge, Marksmanship Medal and Purple Heart.
HAYES, AUBREY, J.
Pvt. Aubrey J. Hayes, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hayes, husband of the former Marion Prichard, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Mineral Wells, studied radio at Waco Army Air Field, San Marcos, South Dakota and Scott Field, Ill.  Has Good Conduct Medal.
HAYES, CHARLES R.
1st Lt. Charles R. Hayes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie E. Hayes, Richland, husband of the former Miss Norman Zane McDaniel, graduate of Richland School.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Air Corps at Kelly Field, Hicks Field, Perrin Field, Lubbock Army Air Field.  Now on duty at Hondo Army Air Field.
HAYDEN, CHARLES R.
T/Sgt. Charles R. Hayden, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Hayden, husband of the former Miss Thelma Nowell, graduate of Ferris High School, and Metropolitan Business College.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army Engineers at Camp Phillips, and Camp Forrest.  Has served in New Guinea and Luzon, wounded on Luzon, 1945, now on duty in Philippines.  Has Good Conduct Ribbon, Unit Citation and Marksmanship.
HAYNES, WILLIAM S.
S 1/C (SM) William S. Haynes, son of Mrs. Iva Haynes, Corsicana, a graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy, 1944, trained at San Diego.  Now on duty in the Pacific.
HAYNIE, MORDIE L.
CMM Mordie L. Haynie, son of Mrs. Meritt Haynie.  Entered service, 1927, trained with Navy at San Diego, Cal.  Has served in European Theater, now on duty at sea in South Pacific.  Has Good Conduct Medals and Ribbons for principal invasions.

Pvt. Rossie W. Haynie, son of Mrs. V. T. Haynie, husband of the former Miss Marie Quinn, graduate from Powell School.  Entered service, 1945, trained at Camp Hood, Texas, where he is still on duty.

Sgt. Charles L. Haywood, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Haywood, Streetman, attended Streetman Schools.  Entered service, 1939, trained with Field Artillery at Ft. Sam Houston.  Has served in European Theater, Ireland, England, killed in action Aug. 4, 1944.  Has Silver Star, Purple Heart, Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster.

T/Sgt. Walter W. Hedrick, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Hedrick, Corsicana, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Army Air Corps in 1941, trained at Sheppard Field and Douglas Aircraft, Calif.  Has served in England, Africa, and Italy, where now on duty.  Has 3 Battle Stars, Good Conduct, and Presidential Citation.
HEIFNER, JAMES L.
Pvt. James L. Heifner, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Heifner, Corsicana, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Field Artillery at Camp Roberts, California.  Has served in European Theater, now on duty in Italy.

Capt. Grover G. Heinman, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Heinman, Bayton, husband of ther former Miss Virginia Williamson, Corsicana, graduate of Lee, Jr. College, Baytown, and Texas University.  He entered the Army Air Corps in 1941, trained at San Antonio and Boston, Ala.  Has served in South America, Africa and Egypt, now on duty in Gulfport, Miss.
HENDERSON, THOMAS LEE
Cpl. Thomas Lee Henderson, son of T. A. Henderson, Richland, husband of the former Miss Marguerite Olivia Shelton, attended Nash Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Medical Corps at Camp Barkley and Camp Ft. Lewis.  Has served in North Africa and now stationed in Italy.
HENDERSON, HAROLD E.
S 2/C Harold E. Henderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Henderson, Corsicana, husband of the former Mary Louise Marlowe, attended Corsicana High School before entering the Navy in 1944, trained for the Navy at San Diego.  Has served in Pearl Harbor and the South Pacific, where now on duty.
HENDERSON, MORRIS E.
S 1/C Morrs E. Henderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Henderson.  Entered service, 1945, trained with Navy at San Diego.  Now on duty in Radar School, California.
