Samuel L. Mcafee, son of Robert Bascom & Nancy Ann (Hagle) McAfee, was born on Oct 3, 1881  He died on September 21, 1891 and was laid to rest at the Prairie Grove Cemetery, at Emmett, Navarro County, Texas.  He was the grandson of Hugh McDuffie & Roseanna (Toal) McAfee.
