Margaret married Dr, Will Murphy, had two children.  Her biography appears in Volume II of the Navarro County History, Texas Women of Distinction, Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Who's Who Women of the World and the international Dictionary of Biography.  She holds memberships in the following patriotic organizations, most of which she has served in a state office: DAR, DAC, Pilgrims Founders and Patriots, Colonial Dames of American, Huguenot Society, Magna Charta Dames, Americans of Royal Descent, and Order of the Crown.  She holds a certificate granted by the National Board of Certification of Genealogists.
