Notes:

• The post card titled "West 3rd Avenue looking West". I was a resident of 3rd Ave and looking at it I thought it was a little strange to look west from what would be a little west of 19th and see the houses that are there. In reality the camera man was facing east. On the right you can see the the roof of 733 west 3rd, The tower of the home west of that and the now white house on the corner of 19th Street and 3rd Ave. Of course the trees are taller and unless you know the architecture of that area you would never know.

  The house with the turret was not built by the Wardells they were the owners at the time that I lived at 733 W 3rd. There is a historic marker for that house as well as the one for the corner. 733 does not have one as far as I know. The house at 733 was built around 1910 so the picture was taken shortly after the construction was finished. It was built by the Copeland family.
