IN PHILIPPINES - Pfc. Leonard A. Watkins, U. S. 33rd Division, is now stationed somewhere in the Philippines according to information received by his wife, Mrs. Leonard A. Watkins, 1526 West Sixth avenue.  Now in action in the liberation of the Philippines he has previously been in combat in New Guinea where he was stationed for 11 months.  Entering the service in October 1942, and overseas 23 months, he guarded military installations in Hawaii for a year.  Pfc. Watkin's two children, Patsy Lynn and Don Watkins reside with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Littlejohn, Frost.
