Washburn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clint Washburn, husband of the former Miss Lorene Ratliff, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the service Jan. 10, 1944, trained with the Heavy Artillery Unit at Ft. Sill, Okla., Fort Riley, Kansas and Ft. Benning, Ga.  Has Expert Rifleman Medal.  Has served in France, Germany, and Belgium, where now on duty.

Watkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mac Watkins, Barry, husband of the former Miss Lillian Bryant, graduate of Barry High School.  Entered the Army, 1942, trained at Camp Roberts, Calif., and Camp Pickett, Va., with the 45th Div.  Has served in Africa, Sicily, and Italy, wounded at Salerno in 1943, received a Medical discharge in 1944.  Has the Purple Heart, two Battle Stars, Combat Inf. Badge, and Good Conduct Medal.
