WALLACE, NOLEN E.
Cpl Nolan E. Wallace, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Wallace, Houston, graduate of Richland Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Ft. Sam Houston, Ft. Lewis, Montana, State University, was Air student at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.  Killed in action in France, Jan. 13, 1945.  Awarded family the Purple Heart.
WALLER, VERNON LEE
S 1/C Vernon Lee Waller, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Waller, attended Powell High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Navy at Dan Diego, California.  Has served in Okinawa, wounded in 1944, and 1945, now on duty in Pacific.

Cpl. James C. Walthall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Walthall, formerly of Kerens, graduated from Forrest High School.  Entered Air Corps, 1942, trained at Sheppard Field and Ellington Field, and Edmonton, Canada.  Now on duty in Alaska where he has served for 2 years.

Ward, husband of Mrs. Willie Mae Ward, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Army, 1940, trained at Camp Bowie and fort Sill, Okla.  Has served in Belgium, France and Germany.  Has Good Conduct, Bronze Star, E.T.O., with 3 Stars, and American Defense Ribbon.  Now at Ft. Bragg.
WARD, LEE ROY
T/Sgt. Lee Roy Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ward, graduate of Purdon High School.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Air Corps at Scott Field, and Westover Field, Mass.  Has served in England, Africa, Sicily and Italy, now on duty at Truax Field, Wisconsin.  Has Air Medal with 6 Battle Stars.

Pvt. Earnest E. Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Ward, Henderson, husband of the former Miss Viola Bruner, attended Corsicana School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Fannin and Ft. Meade.  Has served in England, France, and Germany, wounded in Germany, Feb., 1945, killed in action Feb., 1945.  Family awarded the Purple Heart.

WARNER, JESSE V.
T/Sgt. Jesse V. Warner, son of H. C. Warner, Hubbard.  Graduate of Hubbard High School.  Entered the Army 1935.  Served in N. Africa, Sicily, Italy, Belgium and France.  Wounded in June and August, 1944.  Killed in Belgium Sept 11, 1944.

Cpl. A. Z. Warner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Warner, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Bettie Mae Crawford.  Attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, training in the Air Corps at Waco, Tex.  Now on duty at Newburg, New York.

Pacific 1944.  Has Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal and Battle Stars.

Warner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Warner, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Ora Rozell.  Attended Corsicana School.  Entered service, 1943, training with the Army Medical Corps at Topeka, Kan.  Served in South Pacific and in European Theater.  Has Good Conduct Medal, Campaign Ribbons with Battle Star.  Now at Embarkation Port at Brooklyn N.Y.

M/Sgt. Harold C. Warren, son of Jay Warren.  Wife, the former Margaret Bryan, Corsicana.  Entered the Army in 1942, training at Camp Claiborne, La.  Served in European Theater.  Awarded Bronze Star and Combat Inf. Badge.  Is now in Germany.
