S/Sgt Alvin L. Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mitchell. Husband of former Audry Davis. Graduate of Corsicana High School. Entered service, 1942. Trained with 66th Division Coast Artillery Anti-Aircraft. Trained at Camp Wallace. Served in South America and Puerto Rico for 20 months. Now at Camp Gordon Ga.
MITCHELL, JOHN E.
MAM 3/C John E. Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mitchell, Corsicana. Wife, the former Mary Francis Crews. Graduate of Corsicana High School. Entered service 1944. Trained at Farragut, Idaho. Is now on duty aboard U.S.S. Logan.
MITCHELL, WAYNE
Capt. Wayne Mitchell, son of J. W. Mitchell, Corsicana.  Graduate of Barry High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942.  Trained at Sheppard Field, Tex., Chanute Field, Ill., Brainard Field, Conn., Smyrna Air Base, Tenn., and Miami, Fla.  Served in India and is now at 1306th AAF B.U. IW-ICD ATC.  Has Presidential Citation.

1st Lt. Fred Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Mitchell, Corsicana.  Husband of the former Helen M. Bridges, Attended Arkansas Schools.  Entered service 1942. Trained with Army at Camp Maxey.  Served in France, England, Belgium, and Germany.  Has Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
MOATS, DOUGLAS R.
MM 2/C Douglas R. Moats, son of Mrs. R. H. Smith, Dawson.  Wife is the former Eileen Collins.  Attended Dawson High School.  Entered service 1941.  Trained with Navy at San Diego, Calif. San Francisco and Washington.  Served in Pearl Harbor, Tarawa, Leyte and is now on duty in Pacific.
MOCK, JOHN H.
Pfc. John H. Mock, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Mock, attended Mildred High School.  Entered service, 1944.  Served in France, Belgium and Germany where he is now on duty.  Has Rifle Medal.
MOLES, EVERETT G.
Pfc. Everett G. Moles, son of Mr. E. E. Moles.  Attended Mildred Schools.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained with Army at Camp Hood Texas.  Served in Hawaiian Is., Marianas and Okinawa.
MOLLOY, SAMUEL A.
SK 1/C Samuel A. Molloy, son of Mrs. Olive Molloy and the late Dick Molloy.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained with Navy at San Diego and Terminal Island.  Served Overseas, 1943, on U.S.S. Winooski at Casa Blanca, Oran Aruba, Bermuda, Glasglow, Belfast.  Served in Pacific Theater.
MONROE, ALONZ T.
Cpl. Alonz T. Monroe, Corsicana.  Wife is the former Parry McCullon.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1941. Trained with Air Corps at Ellington Field where he is now on duty.  Has Good Conduct Ribbon.

S 2/C Garland T. Montfort, son of Mrs. Lorah Montfort, attended Corsicana High School and Allen Military Academy.  Entered the Navy in 1945, training at San Diego and Camp Elliott, Calif.  Is now on duty in South Pacific.

T/5 Edwin K. Montgomery, son of Mrs. H. C. Montgomery, graduate of Blooming Grove School.  Entered service 1943, trained with Army at Camp Wolters, in Arkansas, Tennessee and at Camp Bowie.  Now on duty in Philippines.

MONTGOMERY, HERMAN C.
T/Sgt. Hermany C. Montgomery, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Montgomery, husband of the former Miss Tressie Lee Hargrove, attended Streetman Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Force at Waco, Miami, Louisville, Ft. Wayne, Ind.  Has served in India where he was wounded 1943, and 1944.  Has Presidential Citation.
MONTGOMERY, WHITNEY M.
Pvt. Whitney M. Montgomery, son of Mr. and Mrs. Buck Montgomery and husband of the former Miss Loudine Brashear of Eureka, graduate of Mildred High School.  Entered the Army on April 17, 1945.  Trained with the Field Artillery at Ft. Sill, Okla., where he has earned the Marksman's Medal.  Now stationed in Ft. Sill.

MOODY, ARDNER W.
Cpl. Ardner W. Moody, son of Mr. L. L. Moody, husband of the former Miss Helen Crowe, attended school in Corsicana.  Entered the Army Air Corps in 1942, trained at Ft. Worth Army Air Field and Sioux Falls, S.D.  Now on duty at Cott Field, Ill.

S 2/C Doyle Walton Moody, son of Mr. L. L. Moody, Houston, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Navy at Camp Perry, Va.  Sent overseas, 1944, now on duty at Hawaiian Is.
MOORE, REUBEN J.
T/5 Reuben J. Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Moore, Frost. Entered service in 1942, trained with Air Force at Lubbock, Blackland, Bryan and Spokane, Washington. Sent overseas, 1944, served in new Guinea and East Indies, now on duty with Engineers in West Pacific.

T/Sgt. Louis A. Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Moore, formerly of Kerens, Texas, husband of the former Miss Mildred Burns, attended Kerens School.  Entered Air Corps, 1939, trained at Kelly and Randolph Fields, WAFS, Waco, Texas and Kearns, Utah.  Sent to S. Pacific, 1945, now on duty on Luzon.
