Pfc. Melvin Lee Beamon, son of Mr. John M. Beamon, Kerens, graduated from Mildred School.  Entered service, 1942, trained for Army Anti-Aircraft at Camp Wallace, Texas, Puerto Rico Is., Camp Steward, Ga., Lon Island, N.Y., Camp Butler, N.C.  Has served in England, and France, now on duty in Germany with M.P.'s.  Has Medals as Expert Rifleman and Gunner.

Cpl. Quanah Talmage Beasley, son of Mrs. Lida Beasley, Kerens.  Mobilized with 36th Division, trained at Camp Bowie, Texas, and California, Ft. Benning, Ga.  Engaged in several air invasions, now on duty in Nancy, France.  Has several honors

Cpl. Oral Lynoka Beasley, son of Mrs. Lida Beasley.  Entered Natl. Guard, 1940, mobilized into 132 F.A., trained in Camp Blanding, Fla., and Camp Edwards, Mass.  Has served in N. Africa, Italy, France, Australia, and Germany, now on duty in Germany.  Has several Citations and other Honors.  Wounded in Germany April, 1945.

College.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained with Air Corps at Santa Anna, Thunderbird Field, and Scott Field.  Served in European Theater.  Now on duty in France.  Has Battle Stars, Pres. Citation, Campaign Ribbons.
