A/B George Womack, son of Mrs. Annie Womack, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Ruby Smith.  Entered the service, Feb. 1945, trained at San Diego, California.  Received a Medical Discharge.
WOMACK, GLEN
Sgt. Glen Womack, son of Mrs. Annie Womack, Corsicana.  Entered Army, 1942, trained at Camp Koler, California, Camp Crowder, Missouri, fort Jackson, S.C.  Sent overseas, 1944, now on duty in Germany.
WOSSUM, MARVIN R.
S/Sgt. Marvin R. Wossum, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Wossum, husband of the former Miss Anna Bell Wright.  Entered service, 1940, trained with Field Artillery of 7th Army at Camp Bowie, fort Sill, Camp Barkley, Camp Gruber, and Camp Howze.  Has served in Northern Ireland, England, France, Germany and Australia.  Has Good Conduct Medal and 4 Battle Stars.  Now on duty in Australia.

T/4 Clarence E. Wright, son of Mr. Donald A. Wright, Barry, husband of the former Miss Virgie Lee Cobb, attended Mildred Schools. Entered service, 1943, trained with Army at Camp Claiborne, La. Has served in India, Burma, and now on duty in China. Has Bronze Star.

Ens. Count N. Wright, son of Mrs. W. B. Finch, graduate from Corsicana High School. Enlisted in the Navy in November 1943, trained at Tulane University until Nov. 1944, now attending Harvard University.
WRIGHT, ELVEN W.
1st Lt. Elven W. Wright, son of Mr. C. A. Wright, husband of the former Miss Alyne Hayes, graduate of Richland High School. Entered service, 1941, trained with Army Air Corps at Scott Field. Served as Radio Instructor at Scott Field, Communication Cadet at Boca Raton Fla., and Radio School at Yale University. Now enroute to the Pacific.

Pfc. Homer L. Wright, son of Mr. D. A. Wright, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Imogene Ray, attended school at Powell. Entered service, 1941, trained with the Army at Camp Wallace, Camp Hulen, and a camp in New Jersey. Has served in Africa, Italy, France, Belgium and Sicily, now on duty in Germany.

Wylie.  Wife, the former Patsy Cook.  Attended Richland High School.  Entered the Merchant Marines Aug. 1943, training at St. Petersburg, Fla.  Served in Cuba, Puerto Rico, England, Scotland, France, Panama, Marshall Islands, Hawaii.  Is now on duty somewhere at sea.
 
WYLIE, WAYNE L.
Sgt. Wayne L. Wylie, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Wylie, Pursley. Graduated from Union High School. Entered the Army Air Corps in 1942, training at Sheppard Field, Randolph Field, Waycross, Ga, Meridian, Miss., and Venus Fla. Now on duty in Philippines.

Wylie of Corsicana.  Wife, the former Julia Mascio.  Attended Pursley and Corsicana High Schools.  Entered Navy in 1939 and was honorably discharged in same year.  Entered the Merchant Marines in Oct., 1940, training at Hauffman Island, New York.  Served in Hawaii, France, Belgium, England, Scotland, Panama, New Guinea, Guadalcanal, Persia, New Zealand, Australia, Marshall Islands and in South America.  Is now at sea.

WYLIE, GLEN M.
Pvt. Glen M. Wylie, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Wylie of Pursley. Attended Pursley Schools. Entered the Army in 1944, training at Camp Wolters. Is now on duty in the South Pacific.
WYLIE, AUBREY F.
Pfc. Aubrey F. Wylie, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Wylie, Route 5, Corsicana.  Attended Bradley Schools.  Entered service 1942.  Trained with the Army at Camp Stoneman, California.
WYLIE, VIRGIL
Pfc. Virgil Wylie, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Wylie, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Elsie May Barker.  Entered the Army in April, 1942, training in Seattle, Washington and is now on duty at Camp Maxey, Texas.
MCMILLAN, ALLEAN WYLIE
HA 2/C Allean Wylie McMillan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Wylie.  Attended school at Bradley.  Entered the Navy in 1943, training in New York City.  Now on duty at Sun Valley, Is.
YARBER, ROBERT V.
M/M Robert Vardell Yarber, son of Mrs. Beulah Yarber, Corsicana.  Graduate of University of Texas and USNR Midshipmans School, Northwestern University.  Entered the Navy in 1942.  Served in South Pacific.  Has 2 Battle Stars.  Received discharge in Oct. 1944.

T/Sgt. Yarber, grandson of Mrs. John Yarber, Corsicana.  Was graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered the Army Air Force in 1941, training at Tampa, Fla., where he is now on duty.  Has the Pre-Pearl Harbor Medal and the Good Conduct Badge.

Sgt. David L. Yates, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. P. Yates, Corsicana.  Graduated with honors from Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Albuquerque, N.M. and Roswell, N.M., Kerens, Utah.  Served in Hawaiian Is., and is now on duty at Hickman Field, Honolulu.
