| FRED KUPPER S/Sgt. Fred Kupper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Kupper of Blooming Grove, was a member of the Ferrying Service of U.S. Air Force, flying high-octane fuel over "The Hump" between China and Burma. One of the ferrying missions his plane exploded, killing entire crew. A memorial stone was placed in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove honoring Fred. KILLED IN ACTION Notes:
