Messman 2/C Bonham Burleson, son of Mrs. Ellene Burleson.  Attended Corsicana High School. Entered service 1944.  Trained with Merchant Marines at St. Petersburg, Fla.  Served in England, S. Africa, Cuba.  Now on duty in Houston.
BURNHAM, DANNY A.
A/S Danny A. Burnham, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Burnham of Dawson.  Graduated from Dawson High School in 1945 and immediately entered the Navy Training at San Diego.
BURNS, LONNIE
MM 2/C Lonnie L. Brns, son of Mr. and Mrs. K. Luther Burns, Corsicana.  Wife of the former Sammie Horn.  Entered service 1942.  Trained with Navy Seabees at Providence, Camp Endicott and Camp Parks.  Served in New Hebrides, Admiralty Islands and is now somewhere in the S. Pacific.  Has Campaign Ribbons with Battle Star.

Pvt. Andrew C. Burns, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Burns. Wife is the former Ola Bell Evans.  Attended Emhouse Schools.  Entered service in 1944.  Trained with Signal Corps of the Army at Camp Crowder, and Sydney, Neb.  Was Discharged 1944.

Cadet Nurse Sammie G. Burns, parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Horn, wife of Lonne L. Brns.  Trained with Cadet Nurse Corps at City-County Hospital, Ft. Worth.  Is now Senior Cadet.
BURNS, JOHN M.
Sgt. John M. Burns, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Burns, husband of former Jackie Stockman.  Attended Pursley High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, training at Big Spring and Childress, Tex.  Served in England and France.  Now on duty in German.
BURNS, FREDERICK C.
Pfc. Frederick C.  Burns, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Burns.  Attended Dawson High School.  Entered service 1944, training with Infantry at Camp Fannin, Tex.  Served in England, Scotland, France, Holland, Germany and Czechoslovakia, with 9th Army.

S 1/C Willie M. Brns Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Burns.  Attended Dawson Schools.  Entered service 1944.  Training with the Navy at San Diego.  Now on duty in Marianas.

Cpl. Carl W. Burns, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Burns, attended Pursley Schools.  Entered service 1940, training with Air Corps and served in Puerto Rico for 3 years.  Now at March Field, Calif.

Pvt. Leon Burns, son of Ethel Burns.  Wife, the former Esma Othella Coker.  Attended Ben Wheeler Schools.  Entered service 1944, training at Camp Joseph T. Robinson and Ft. Meade.  Served in European Theater.  Awarded Purple Heart Posthumously.  Killed in action, November 20, 1944 in Germany.

RM 1/C Wiley Q. Burns, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Burns, Sr., Frost.  Wife the former Virginia Lattimore.  Graduate of Frost High School.  Entered service, 1939.  Trained with Navy at San Diego.  Served in Pearl Harbor on U.S.S. Vestal.  Now on duty in South Pacific.

S 2/C James W. Burns, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Q. Burns, Frost.  Attended Frost High School.  Entered service, 1944.  Trained with Coast Guard at Manhattan Beach.  Served aboard the U.S.S. Neigs in England, France, Italy and N. Africa.

Burton, North Carolina.  Wife is the former Beatrice Hagle.  Entered Tarrant Field.  Transferred to Infantry, training at Camp Maxey.  Served in France, Belgium, Germany.  Has Sharpshooter Medal, Pistol and Rifle Badge, Good Conduct Medal.  Now on duty in Germany.
BUSH, EARL, JR.
Sgt. Earl Bush, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bush, Corsicana.  graduate of Corsicana and attended N.T.S.T.C., Denton.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained with the Army at Camp Wallace, Athens, Ga., Ft. Davis, N.C., Ft. Bliss, and Camp Shelby, Miss.  Completed Radio Schools with honors.  Served in Scotland, England, France as official mail and radio messenger.  Has 3 Battle Stars.
