BUSH, ROBERT E.
Pfc. Robert E. Bush, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Bush, Powell, graduate of A & M College.  Entered service 1942.  Trained with Anti-Aircraft at Camp Wallace and Camp Young.  Served in England, N. Africa, Tunisia, Sicily and Italy.  Received Presidential Commendation of 105th Bn. and 7 Battle Stars.  Was discharged July 1945.

BUTLER, JOE L.
Sgt. Joe L. Butler, entered service, 1942.  Trained with the 90th Div at Abilene, in La., Calif., and Ariz.  Transferred to General Hospital Div., and went overseas 1944.  Served in England, France, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Astria, where he served with Patton's Third Army.  Sgt. Butler drove for Bowen Trailways before entering the Army.
BUTLER, WILLIAM H.
Major William H. Butler, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Butler, Barry.  Wife the former Betty Bryant.  Graduate Blooming Grove, A & M College.  Trained with Cavalry and Paratroopers, 1941, at Ft. Bliss, Ft. Riley, Ft. Benning.  Served in England, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Austria.  With 105th Parachute Infantry, Germany.  Has Bronze Star.

S 1/C Billy C. Butler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Curry Butler, Corsicana. Graduate Corsicana High School. Entered service 1943. Trained in the Navy at San Diego and Terminal Island. Served in New Guinea, Hawaii, Philippines, Oiknawa. Now on duty in So. Pacific.

Sgt. Earnest J. Byrd, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Walker, wife is the former Janie Bush. Graduate of Corsicana High School. Entered the Air Corps in 1943, training at Waco Air Field and Sheppard Field, Texas. Also Dodd City, Kan. Is now on duty at Frederick, Oklahoma Air Field.

M/Sgt. Charles F. Byrd, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Byrd, wife is the former Anna Katherine Rowell.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, training with Air Corps at Sheppard Field, Boeing Field, Casper Army Air Base.  Served in England.  Has Good Conduct and ETO Ribbon with 3 Battle Stars.  Now on duty at Sioux Falls, S.D.
BYRNES, MAURICE R.
S 1/C Maurice R. Byrnes, grandson of Mrs. R. W. Sheffield, Eureka.  Entered service 1944.  Trained with Navy as San Diego.  Now on hospital ship in Pacific.

Pvt. James D. Caffy, son of Mrs. T. B. Caffy. Wife is former Lucille Ballew. Attended Frost High School Entered service 1945, training with Army at Camp Hood. Now on duty at Ft. Ord, Calif. Received expert rifle pin.

Capt. Bruce C. Cagle, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Cagle, was a graduate of Corsicana schools.  Entered the Army in 1940, training at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding, Ft. Benning, and Camp McCoy.  Served in European Theater and now in England.  Has Purple Heart, Two Clusters, Presidential Citation, Bronze Star, and Combat Infantryman Badge.  Wounded in France and Belgium.

S 1/C Sterling R. Cagle, son of Mrs. I. R. Cagle, husband of the former Miss Emily Kichthen, attended Mertens High School.  Entered the Coast Guards in 1942, trained at Camp Harchan, La. Now on duty at Coast Guard Depot, Galveston.

Sgt. Herbert D. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Campbell, husband of the former Miss Hazel Mitchel, entered the service in 1940.  Trained with Army at Ft. Sill, Ft. Bragg, Camp Claiborne and Ft. Lewis.  Now stationed at Ft. Lewis.

Pvt. Jim J. Campbell, son of Mrs. Gertrude Campbell, attended Corsicana High School.  Trained with Air Corps and has been in Europe since 1943.  Now in India with 54th Air Service.  Wears Theater Ribbons.

Pvt. Thomas E. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Campbell, attended Blooming Grove Schools.  Entered the Army in 1944, trained at Camp Hood, Texas. Honorably discharged in 1944.

Sgt. Sullivan L. Campbell, son of Mrs. Hazel Hughes, husband of the former Miss Jackie Williams, attended Rice Schools.  Entered the Army in 1940, trained at Camp Wolters.  Served in Pacific.  Now on duty in Philippines.  Wears Theater Ribbon.
