Pfc. Earle C. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Campbell, Corsicana.  Wife is the former Helen Conner.  Attended Pettys Chapel School.  Entered service 1943 training with Air Corps at Walters, Jefferson Barracks, and Goldsburg, N.C.  Served in England and is now in France.
CAPEHART, ORVILLE THOMAS
S 2/C Orvil Thomas Capehart was farming in the Navarro Co. before entering the Navy in 1944, training at Great Lakes and Norfolk, Va.  Is now on duty in Pacific Theater.
CAPEHART, JOHN F.
S 2/C John F. Capehart, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Capehart, attended school at Navarro.  Entered the Navy Feb., 1945, training at San Diego, and Shoemaker, Calif.  Served in the South Pacific.
CAPEHART, JIMMIE D.
Pfc.  Jimmie D. Capehart, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Capehart, graduated from Navarro High School.  Entered the Med. Corps in 1944, training at Camp Fannin. Served in France, England, Italy, and Germany where he is now on duty.
CAPPS, JACK
Sgt. Jack Capps, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Lee Capps, and husband of former Maude Bell Wyant.  Attended Powell School.  Entered the army 1942, training at Camp Fannin and Camp Wolters.  Served in England, France, Belgium.  Was wounded, 1944 in Belgium.  Has Purple Heart and Campaign Ribbons.  Received discharge.
CARR, JESSIE E.
WO Jessie E. Carr, son of W. F. Carr, Streetman.  Attended Currie Schools.  Entered the Air Corps at Ft. Sill, 1934, training at Sheppard Field and Miami Beach.  Now on duty at Miami.
CARR, ESTHER L.
Cpl. Esther L. Carr, daughter of W. F. Carr.  Attended Currie Schools.  Entered service 1942.  Trained with WAC at Ft. Des Moines, Ft. Oglethorpe and Ft. Ord.  Served in Austrilia, New Guinea and Philippines.  Now on duty in Minila.
CARR, CLAUDE
Cpl. Claude Carr, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Carr, Corsicana.  Graduate of Corsicana High School and attended Columbia School of Law.  entered the service 1943.  Trained with Marines at Oceanside.  Served in Pacific and Hawaiian Islands.  Was wounded on Saipan, 1944.  Has Purple Heart.
CARRINGTON, DENNIS W.
Sgt. Dennis W. Carrington, son of Mrs. W. M. Carrington, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1942. Trained with Air Corps at Ephatra and Spokane, Washington.  Served in England, Scotland, Germany.  Now at McCloskey Hospital, Temple.  Has six Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Presidential Citation.
CARRINGTON, J. B., JR.
Pvt. J. B. Carrington Jr., son of Mrs. W. M. Carrington, was a graduate of State Home School, Corsicana.  Entered service 1944.  Trained with medical Corps at Camp Barkley.  Now on duty at Luzon.

Lt. (jg) Ben F. Carroll, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Carroll, graduate of Corsicana High School and University of Texas.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained with the Navy at University of Texas.  Served at Pearl Harbor, Australia, New Guinea, Leyte, Tulaji, Uluthi, Okinawa.  Has Ribbons and Battle Stars.  Now on duty in Pacific.

S 1/C Alvie R. Carroll, foster son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Price, Eureka.  Attended Chatfield Schools.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained with the Navy at San Diego and Seattle, Washington.  Missing in action since October, 1944, in Southwest Pacific.
CARROLL, LUTHER H., JR.
T/Sgt. Luther H. Carroll, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Carroll, Kerens, wife, the former Bertie Mae Stevens.  Graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered the Army Air Corps March 21, 1942.  Trained at Sheppard Field, Boeing Plant, Seattle, Wash.  Now on duty at Grand Island Army Field.

Carolina.  Served in Africa, Italy, and France.  Wounded in Italy.  Discharged.  Has Combat Inf. Badge, Purple Heart, ETO Ribbon, Four Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal.

Pfc. Lloyd H. Carroll, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Carroll, Angus.  Wife is the former Delma Rae Murphy.  Graduate of Richland High School.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained at Waco and Laredo.  Now on duty at Laredo A. A. Field.  Has Good Conduct Medal.
CARROLL, DORWYN
S/Sgt. Dorwyn Carroll, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Carroll, Angus.  Graduate of Richland Schools.  Entered service, 1944.  Trained with the Army at Camp Robinson, and Ft. Meade, Md.  Served in England, France, Holland, Belgium and is now in Germany.  Has Good Conduct Medal.
CARROLL, CORNELIOUS C.
SSML 3/C Cornelious C. Carroll, son of R. J. and Mrs. Sallie Carroll.  Trained with the Navy, 1943, at Great Lakes, Ill.  Served aboard USS Relief for 3 1/2 years at New Zealand, New Caledonia, Gilbert, Marshall, Marianas Islands, Pearl Harbor, Palau, Okinawa.  Has Good Conduct Ribbon, Four Battle Stars and Pacific Theater Ribbon.
CARSWELL, JOHN P.
M/Sgt. John P. Carswell, son of Mrs. Cecil Carswell Miles, entered the Air Corps Dec 1941.  Trained at Ft. Crockett, Tex., Brooks Field.  Served in England.  Present assignment ETO.
CARTER, L. C.
S 1/C L. C. Carter, grandson of Ed. Ewing, Blooming Grove.  Attended Blooming Grove School, Entered service, 1942.  Trained at Corpus Christi with the Navy.  Now in Pacific.
CARTER, CHARLES HAROLD
CH. PHM Charles H. Carter, son of A. D. Carter, husband of former Irma O'Daniel.  Attended Blooming Grove Schools.  Entered service, 1935.  Trained with the Navy at San Diego.  Served in Far East and Europe.  Prisoner of War three years.  Now awaiting assignment.  Good Conduct, European Theater Ribbon with Battle Star, U.S. Defense and Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbons.
