Lewis Collins, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Collins, Sr., wife is the former Jeanell Reagan.  Attended Kerens High School.  Entered the Merchant Marines June 9, 1945.  Trained at Avalon, Cataline Island, Calif.  Was discharged June 1945.
COLLINS, CLARK
S/Sgt. Clark Collins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Collins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Collins, attended school at Navarro.  Entered the Army 1941, training at Ft. Lewis, Wash., and San Francisco, Calif.  Served on Pearl Harbor and Lzon.  Has Expert Inf. Badge.
COLLINS, ROY
Pvt. Roy Collins entered service 1944.  Trained with Army at Mineral Wells and Camp Roberts, Ark. Medically discharged 1944.
COLLINS, WILL JR.
T/Sgt. Will Collins Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Collins, graduated from the Streetman High School in 1936.  Entered service in Oct., 1941, training with Marines in San Diego.  Served as instructor in San Diego.  Served as instructor in San Diego for two years.  Now on duty at Okinawa.  Wears two Sharpshooters Badges.
COMBS, WILLIAM M.
Pfc. William M. Combs, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Combe, Kerens, Tex., attended Rural Shade School.  Entered the Army Feb., 1943, training at Camp Howze, and Ft. Sam Houston.  Engaged in N. Africa, Italy Campaigns.  Now on duty in Italy.  Awarded Good Conduct and Combat Badge.

October, 1943, trained at Camp White, Ore., Camp Howze, Texas and Camp Pickett, Va.  Has served in ETO Campaigns, Killed in Germany, Feb. 22, 1945.
COMBS, EARL D.
Earl D. Combs, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Combs, Kerens, attended Rural Shade School.  Entered Army, 1943, trained at Camp Flora, Miss., and Texarkana, Texas.  Has served in England, France, Belgium and Germany, now enroute to S. Pacific.  Awarded Mechanic Pin, Rifle and Good Conduct Medals.
COMPTON, JAMES H.
Lt. James H. Compton, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Compton, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Noleta Hardie, graduate of Navarro High School, and North Texas State Teachers College, Denton.  Entered Navy in 1942, trained at Notre Dame, Indiana, and Columbus University, New York.  Has served in both Atlantic and Pacific.
