Cpl. John D. Fields, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Fields, husband of the former Miss Fay Garvin, graduated from Frost High School. Entered the Army in 1940, trained with 133rd Field Artillery at Camp Bowie, Blanding and Edwards. Killed in action in 1943 at Salerno.

Finch, husband of the former Miss Maxine Jones, graduated from Corsicana High and A. & M.  entered the service in 1942, trained with 337th Inf. 85th Div. at Ft. Benning, Camp Shelby, Camp Pilot Knob, Camp Coxcomb and Ft. Dix.  Served with the 85th Div. through Italy.  Now stationed in Italy.  Wears Theater Ribbons.

Pfc. Jack Fisher, son of Mr. C. S. Fisher, attended Ferris Schools.  Entered the Army in 1943, trained with the Infantry at Camp Fannin.  Served in France, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Czechoslovakia.  Wears Theater Ribbons.
FITZGERALD, ROBERT L.
SMS 2/C Robert L. Fitzgerald, son of Mrs. S. E. Shepard and J. T. Fitzgerald, attended Mildred Schools.  Entered the Merchant Marines in 1945, trained at Avalon, California where he is now stationed.

S 1/C Bobby E. Fitzgerald, son of Mr. Lee Fitzgerald of Blooming Grove, attended Blooming Grove School.  Entered the Service in 1944, trained with the Navy at San Diego.  Now on duty at Okinawa.  Wears Theater Ribbon.

Cpl. Billy J. Fitzgerald, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. V. Fitzgerald, graduated from Rich High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1944, trained at Sheppard Field, Truax Field, Chanute Field and Boca Raton Field.  Went overseas in 1945, now in Italy.  Wears Theater Ribbon.
FITZGERALD, CHARLES A.
Cpl. Charles Fitzgerald, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Fitzgerald, Blooming Grove, husband of the former Miss Dorothy Louise Cumpston, graduated from Rich High School.  Joined the Engineers in 1943, trained at Camp Albert, Ore., and North Ft. Lewis, Wash.  Now enroute to the Pacific.
FLETCHER, JAMES E., JR.
MM 1/C James E. Fletcher, son of Mrs. J. E. Fletcher, husband of the former Miss Thelma Youngblood, volunteered for the Seabees July 1942.  Entered as a Petty Officer and received training at Camp Parks Calif., and Norfolk, Va.  Served in Aleutians and Hawaii.  Given medical discharge Feb., 1945 at Navy Hospital, Yosemite, Calif.

Pvt. Bobby Fletcher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Fletcher, attended Kerens School.  Entered Coast Artillery, 1942, trained at San Diego, Calif., at Hoan, Calif.  Has served in Australia and New Guinea, now on duty in the Philippine Islands.
FLOYD, KRISTINE
Lt. Kristine Floyd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Floyd, Houston, graduate of Kerens.  Entered Nurses Training at Herman Hospital in Houston, 1941.  Entered Army, 1944, trained at Brooks General Hospital, San Antonio, McCloskey Hospital, Indian Town Gap and Camp Beal.  Now on duty in Hawaii awaiting shipment to S. Pacific.
FLOYD, DWAIN H.
BM 2/C Dwain H. Floyd, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Floyd of Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Anita Tasin, graduate from Kerens High School.  Entered the Navy in 1943, trained at San Diego and San Francisco, Calif.  Has served in Italy, Iraq, and France, now on duty in the South Pacific.
FLOURNOY, GEORGE T.
Cpl. George T. Flournoy, Jr., A.S.N., son of Mrs. Martha Flournoy, formerly of Kerens High School.  Entered Air Corps, 1942, trained at Marfa A.A.F., Marfa, Texas.  Now on duty in New Guinea.
FLOYD, W. JERRELL
T/Sgt. Jerrell W. Floyd, son of Mrs. Jake Floyd, wife is the former Miss Frances Cooper, Kerens.  Entered Army July, 1939. Served overseas 35 months, a member of Famous Fighting 1st Div., First Army.  Engaged in N. Africa, ETO Campaigns (Eight).  Awarded Bronze Star with an Oak Leaf Cluster, Presidential Citation with two Oak Clusters, Combat Inf. Badge, Silver Star for Capture of 24 Germans under most difficult conditions, discharged July, 1945.

Sgt. Terry E. Fluker, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry E. Fluker, Corsicana, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Roberts.  Served in Australia, Biak Island, New Guinea, now on duty in Dallas.  Has Good Conduct Ribbon, Two Bronze Stars, and Distinguished Unit Badge.

Flynn, Corsicana husband of the former Miss Margie French.  Mobilized with National Guard, 1940, trained with Anti-Aircraft Detachment of Army at Camp Bowie.  Has served in Africa, Egypt, Caribbean Area, England, France, and Germany.  Has Pre-Pearl Harbor, Good Conduct, ETO Ribbon, 6 Battle Stars, Arrowhead and 5 Service Stripes.
