Custer, Mich., Camp Philips, Kans. Camp McCain, Miss.  Has served in England, France, Belgium, Germany and Czechoslovakia now on duty there.  Has Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon, E.T.O. and Infantry Combat Ribbons.

S 2/C Carey A. Ford, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Ford of Powell, Texas graduate from Mildred High School.  Entered Navy on Feb. 23, 1945, trained at San Diego and India, California.  Now on duty at India, Calif.

Sgt. Charlie D. Fort, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cerf Fort, formerly of Kerens, attended Kerens High School.  Entered Army, 1943, trained at Ft. Sill, Okla., Greenville, Pa.  Has served in N. Africa, France, Belgium, and Germany now on duty in Australia.  Has Bronze Star and 4 Battle Stars.

Hoyt C. Fort, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cerf Fort, formerly of Kerens, attended Kerens High School.  Enlisted in Naval Reserve July, 1945, waiting to be called to service.

Fouty of Navarro, husband of the former Miss Ruth Collins of Streetman, Texas, attended Hopewell Schools, and was a business man at Navarro before entering the service.  Entered the service on Oct. 31, 1942, trained at the Baytown Ordnance Works, and in Houston.  Was discharged from Ellington Field on Feb. 13, 1943.
