Pvt. Henry E. Fread, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Fread, husband of the former Miss Mildred Martin, attended Richland Schools.  Entered service, 1945, trained with Richland Schools.  Entered service, 1945, trained with Army at Ft. Sam Houston, where he is now on duty.
FREDERICK, JACKIE D.
Lt. Jackie D. Frederick, son of Mrs. Madge Howard, Dawson graduate Dawson High School, attended John Tarleton College.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Air Corps at Santa Anna, Cal., Deming, New Mexico and Roswell, New Mexico.  Now on duty at Pueblo, Colorado.  Has Distinguished Service.

MM 3/C John W. Frederick, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Frederick, graduate of Blooming Grove.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy Seabees at Norfolk, Va.  Has served in Marshall Islands, and now on duty in South Pacific.

FREELAND, JOE D., JR.
T/Sgt. Joe D. Freeland, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Freeland, Dawson, graduate of Dawson High School.  Entered service 1941, trained with Air Corps at Jefferson Barracks, and Chanute Field, commissioned at Dyersburg, tenn.  Has completed 33 missions over North Africa and Italy, missing in action over Australia since 1944.  Has Air Medal with 4 Oak Clusters.

Freeman, husband of the former Miss Myrtle Darrick, graduate of Emhouse Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Ground Crew of Air Corps at Sheppard Field and Wilmington, Del.  Now on duty at Maxton Field, North Carolina as an instructor for Glider Plane Mechanics.  Has Good Conduct Ribbon.

Pvt. Ben F. Freeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Freeman, Dallas, husband of the former Miss Virginia Harvard, attended Barry High School.  Entered service, 1944 trained with Army at Camp Wolters.  Now stationed in the Philippines.

AM 2/C Guy W. Freeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben F. Freeman, Dallas, husband of the former Miss Florine Buckalew, attended Barry Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Navy at Dallas and Hutchins, Kansas.  Now on Board U.S.S. Bennington in the Pacific.

Pvt. Lou W. French, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. French, Corsicana. Entered the service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Barkley and Camp Dix. Has served in England and France, killed in action, 1944 in France. Has Purple Heart.
