BEAMON, MELVIN LEE
Pfc. Melvin Lee Beamon, son of Mr. John M. Beamon, Kerens, graduated from Mildred School.  Entered service, 1942, trained for Army Anti-Aircraft at Camp Wallace, Texas, Puerto Rico Is., Camp Steward, Ga., Lon Island, N.Y., Camp Butler, N.C.  Has served in England, and France, now on duty in Germany with M.P.'s.  Has Medals as Expert Rifleman and Gunner.
BEAMON, WILLIAM EARL
S. William E. Beamon, son of John M. Beamon, graduated from Kerens High School.  Enlisted in the Merchant Marines April, 1945, trained at Avalon, California.  Served on the S.S. Geo. F. Downey, now on duty somewhere in S. Pacific.
BEAMON, MARION F.
Pfc. Marion F. Beamon, son of Mr. John M. Beamon, attended Mildred and Long Prairie Schools.  Entered Marine Air Corps June 1943, trained at San Diego, Calif. and Bombardier training at El Centro, Calif., and advanced training in N. Carolina.  Has served on Pelieu.  Has  Expert Rifleman Medal.

Pfc. Sam W. Beamon, son of Mr. John M. Beamon, attended Mildred and Long Prairie Schools.  Entered Army as combat Engineer, March 1943, trained at Camp Robinson, Ark., Florida, and Camp Pickett, Va., now on duty in Germany.  Has Medal as Sharpshooter of Rifle and Machine gun and Five Stars.
BEAMON, JESSIE L.
S 1/C Jessie L. Beamon, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.  B. Beamon, attended Kerens Schools.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at San Diego, California, now on duty in South Pacific.

Cpl. Quanah Talmage Beasley, son of Mrs. Lida Beasley, Kerens.  Mobilized with 36th Division, trained at Camp Bowie, Texas, and California, Ft. Benning, Ga.  Engaged in several air invasions, now on duty in Nancy, France.  Has several honors

Cpl. Oral Lynoka Beasley, son of Mrs. Lida Beasley.  Entered Natl. Guard, 1940, mobilized into 132 F.A., trained in Camp Blanding, Fla., and Camp Edwards, Mass.  Has served in N. Africa, Italy, France, Australia, and Germany, now on duty in Germany.  Has several Citations and other Honors.  Wounded in Germany April, 1945.

Cox H. C. (Sonny) Beckham, son of Mrs. Lola Beckham, husband of the former Miss Altha Spears, graduate from Navarro High School.  Enlisted in the Navy, 1943, trained at San Diego.  Has served on Hawaiian Islands since sent overseas.
BECKHAM, ALTHA
Yoeman 2/C Altha Beckham, daughter of Mrs. Maude Spears, wife of Cox H. C. Beckham, graduate from Atoka, Oklahoma.  Enlisted in the Navy, 1942, trained at Norfolk, Va., and San Pedro, Calif., where now on duty.

S/St. Roy D. Beauchamp, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Beauchamp, Corsicana.  Wife the former Cleo Humphries.  Attended Corsicana High School and A. & M. College.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained with Air Corps at Santa Anna, Thunderbird Field, and Scott Field.  Served in European Theater.  Now on duty in France.  Has Battle Stars, Pres. Citation, Campaign Ribbons.
BEEMAN, W. E.
Cpl. W. E. Beeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Beeman, Drane.  Wife, the former Gladys Evelyn Shaw.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered Service, 1942, Trained with Army at Mineral Wells, San Francisco.  Now on duty at Philippines.

BEGGS, JOE ORVILLE
T/5 J. Orville Beggs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Beggs, Kerens, attended Kerens High School.  Entered the Army Feb., 1943, training at Clearwater, Fla., Hammer Field Calif., Claiborne, La.  Served in New Guinea, and is now somewhere in the Pacific.  Has Sharpshooter Medal.
BEGGS, JAMES DAVID
Pvt. James David Beggs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Beggs, Kerens, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Army June 1945.  Trained at Ft. Sam Houston and is now on duty at Ft. Knox, Kentucky.
BELL, DANIEL J. Jr.
S 3/C Daniel J. Bell, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Bell, Corsicana.  Wife the former Ella Ruth Sims.  Attended school at Corsicana.  Entered the Navy 1944.  Trained at San Diego.  Now on duty at Seattle, Washington.
BELL, ELMO L.
T/Sgt. ELmo L. Bell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Bell, Corsicana, graduated from Corsicana High School and attended A. & M. College.  Entered service 1942.  Trained with the Army at Radio and Radar Repair School, Kansas City.  Served in North Africa and is now in India.

2nd Eng. LeRoy Bell, son of Mrs. Rosa Dushane, Corsicana, attended school at State Home.  Entered the Marines in 1943.  Trained at Pass Christian, Miss.  Served in Atlantic and Pacific.  Is now on duty somewhere in the Pacific.
