Mrs. Bernice Pickins Sprinkle, 87, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2005, in Lewisville.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana. Services will be held Friday, September 23, 2005, at 2 P.M. at the First Christian Church with Dr. Mark Leura officiating. interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.

Mrs. Sprinkle was born in Corsicana, Texas to Bowen Dixon and Ollie Jackson Pickins.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Chester O. Sprinkle.

Survivors include Daughter and Son-in-law: Margaret and Byron Wells of Flower Mound, TX., Son: David Sprinkle of Dallas, TX., and a Granddaughter and husband: Jennifer and John Clay of Lewisville, TX.

Calvin Clayton

Calvin Clayton, former Brookshire’s store director in Corsicana, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, in Sulphur Springs due to complications from lung cancer. At the time of his death, he was manager of Brookshire’s Grocery in Sulphur Springs.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Eva; son, Donny and daughter-in-law Amanda; and son, Cody. He had one granddaughter, Catherine Elise, born in 2005, whom he adored.
Thank you to all in Corsicana who sent their love and prayers during his long and courageous battle.

Elmer Junior Tanner, 79, of Shady Grove passed away after a long battle with cancer Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, in Corsicana.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with the Rev. Darin Wood officiating. Interment will follow at New Pursley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Patrick, Terry Patrick, Ronnie J. Tanner, Bryan Neal Tanner, Elton Glen Lane and John Ivie. Honorary pallbearers will be Elwin Rhodes, Charlie Parrish and Mike Tanner.
Mr. Tanner was born Feb. 2, 1926, in Pursley to Felix Elmer and Hettie Lane Tanner, the 11th of 12 children. He spent most of his life as a farmer. He retired from Whiteselle Brick Yard where he was a heavy machine operator.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Bessie Lee Wilson Tanner.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Tanner and wife Karen of Fairfield and Elmer Tanner and wife Mandy of Corsicana; daughter, Brenda Kay Barron and husband Don of Corsicana; seven grandchildren, Mike Patrick of Dallas, Terry and Monica Patrick of Rice, Ronnie J., Bryan and Kayla Tanner of Fairfield, and Allison and Dustin Tanner of Corsicana; one great-grandchild, Tanner Douglass Patrick; and sister, Tommie Ruth Blackburn of Corsicana.

Mrs. Read was born April 20, 1933, in Chatfield to Troy Fuller and Lake Kelso Fuller. She was a member of the Ladies Club in Richland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leslie Read; brother, Troy Wayne Fuller; and sister, Verta Mae Wagner.

Mattie Bell Jennings, 87, of Corsicana passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at her residence.
Quiet hour will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Scott Funeral Chapel.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at New Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1808 W. 10th Ave., with the Rev. Donné Watson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Williams, Stanley Jennings, Maurice Bluitt, Clay Jennings, Harold Wilson, Larry Wilson, Leonard Williams, Gene Williams, Olander Donaldson and Joe Bluitt.
Mrs. Jennings was born Jan. 30, 1918, in Mexia, Limestone County. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and later joined New Cornerstone Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Jennings.
Survivors include three daughters and one stepdaughter, Kacy Ellis (Louis) and Ruthie Wilson (Larry), both of Corsicana, Sally Crow (Charles) of Grand Prairie and Margaret Brandon (Ira L.) of Waco; five sons, Floyd Evans (Lois), Louis Jennings (Lucille) and Daniel Jennings Jr., all of Dallas, John Jennings (Diann) and Bennie Jennings, both of Corsicana; a twin sister, Hattie B. Williams of Corsicana; one sister-in-law, Bessie Jennings of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends including a family friend, Wanda Radford.

John Palos, Sr.
Dec 8, 1908 - Sep 27, 2005

John Palos Sr., age 96, early resident of Corsicana and Navarro County, passed away after a short illness at Navarro Regional Hospital Tuesday morning, Sept. 27, 2005, five days after suffering a stroke at home.
John Palos was born Dec. 8, 1908, in Hondo. He retired from the City of Corsicana almost 28 years ago as water and sewer superintendent. He will be remembered as a good, humble and hard-working man who would help anyone at anytime. He endured some difficult times through the wars and the Great Depression, but he provided for his family with a positive “can do” attitude. He was faithful to his wife of 73 years and loved his family, teaching them the virtues of hard work and doing good for others. John had a strong faith in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit and prayed daily for strength to be a strong and loving father to his children. He is now at peace and enjoys the promises of eternal happiness in heaven.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; parents, grandparents, two sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Isabelle Guillen of Temple; and sons, Harry and wife Barbara Palos of Corsicana, Luther and wife Carol Palos of Corsicana, Joe and wife Lorena Palos of Corsicana, John Palos Jr. of Dallas and Lewis Palos of Corsicana. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Chapel and Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Danilo Ramos officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Corsicana. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or a charity of choice.

Mrs. Harris was born June 20, 1939, in St. Louis, Mo. She was a deaconess, choir member and assistant Sunday school secretary of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She worked several years at Navarro Regional Hospital as a registered nurse.
She was preceded in death by his father, William Compton; and mother, Agnes Hunter Compton.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice B. Harris of Corsicana; sons, Darryl Wilford of Corsicana and Michael Wilford of Dallas; daughter, Pennie Harris Smith and husband Adrain Smith of Dallas; grandchildren, Michael Wilford Jr. and Anthony Wilford of San Diego, Calif.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Jerry Max Barnes, 52, of Idaho passed away with cancer Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at Ridgecrest Nursing Home in Waco.

Mr. Barnes was born Jan. 7, 1953, in Corsicana to Max Barnes Jr. and Margaret Nell Griffin Barnes. He was self employed as a bricklayer.

Erwin McGraw, 82, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at Navarro Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. B.F. Risinger Jr. officiating.
Mr. McGraw was born Nov. 8, 1922, in Blooming Grove to Lace and Eula Fredrick McGraw. He graduated from Blooming Grove High School in 1940. He worked for Corsicana Air Activities, the Fort Hood Defense Plant until the end of the war, then moved back to Blooming Grove and met and married Chris Hanks on Jan. 15, 1949.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Chris McGraw of Corsicana; sister, Eula Dell Phillips and husband Leon of Corsicana; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born in Eurke and was a former employee of the Texas Company in Corsicana.

Services will be held Saturday in Clearwater, [Pinellas Co.] FLA for Mrs Elizabeth (Bessie) WILLS LORD daughter of the late Dr and Mrs J.(John) M.  V. WILLS of Corsicana She died Thursday in [Morton Plant Hospital]  Clearwater, Fla.
She was a native of Corsicana and had resided with her family in [Chicago, and Pelham New York, and Clearwater] for the past 50 years.
Survivors include her husband George Ransom Lord of Clearwater, a daughter Elizabeth Lord DAVIS (Mrs. Robert L.) of Birchrunville, (Chester Co) PA; a son George R LORD of Whispering Pines NC; four grandchildren, and five great grand children.
Arrangements are with the Hubbell Funeral Home in Clearwater.

Pearlie Mae Grant, 86, of Dallas and formerly of Corsicana, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at Amberwood Nursing Care Center of Celina.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. today at First Independent Baptist Church, 703 E. Fifth Ave., with Bishop Larry Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hall Cemetery in Winkler.
Mrs. Grant was born March 24, 1919, in Winkler. She was a member of Bethlehem Outreach Apostolic Temple of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Grant; four sons, Leroy Grant, Edward Grant, John Louis Grant and Benjamin O. Davis Grant; and one grandson, “Lil” Eddie Chambers.
Survivors include seven daughters, Doris Kennedy (George) of Fort Worth, Gladys Sparks (Curtis) of Corsicana, Mary Sheppard (Billy) of Dallas, Alice Chambers (Mike), Katherine Grant (B.T.), and Diann Kelly (Elbert), all of Corsicana, and Tommy Jean Grant (Nolen) of Clarksville; two sons, Bennie Ray Grant of Corsicana and Fred Grant of Waxahachie; daughter-in-law, Helen Renfro Grant of Corsicana; 28 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren including TreShun Overton of California; godchild, Terry Mitchell Ridley of Houston; a special brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Mary Grant of Streetman; a host of nieces and nephews including Paul Packer of New York City; other relatives and friends.

Peggy Ann (Williams) Garner
Peggy Ann (Williams) Garner went to be with her Lord on Oct. 1, 2005, in Bryan. Peggy was born to Curtis and Ola Williams on Dec. 11, 1934, in Corsicana. She worked in the insurance business for many years with firms in Corsicana, Amarillo and Dallas. Peggy retired from the Texas Department of Human Services in 1995 and she and her husband moved to Hilltop Lakes in 1998.
A graduate of Corsicana High School, Navarro College and University of Texas, Tyler, Peggy was loved by all who knew her. She returned that love with interest. Peggy’s greatest love after her Savior was for her family. She worked tirelessly to maintain the bonds of love throughout her extended family. A lifelong member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, Peggy was active in all church activities. At Hilltop Lakes, Peggy served as a Stephen minister for the past five years. She made and maintained longtime friendships with many people from all walks of life. She never met a stranger.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 27 years, John J. Garner Jr. of Hilltop Lakes; son and daughter-in-law, Scott Alan and Carrie Dillard of Los Angeles, Calif.; son, Gary Dennis Dillard of Al Asad Air Base, Iraq; son, Robert Eugene Garner of Conroe; and son, John J. Garner III of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandson, Ben Dillard of Los Angeles, Calif.; granddaughter, Ava Dillard of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, C.D. Williams of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Doris Williams of Farmers Branch; sister, Clo Fletcher of Midlothian; sister, Louise Heiskell of Duncanville; granddaughter, Courtney Garner of Conroe; grandson, Adam Garner of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandson, Austin Garner of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and grandson, Jordan Garner of Yukon, Ohio; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

She was a homemaker, and an active member of the Apostolic Revival Center in Corsicana, where she volunteered as a cook with the Life's Little Ones Daycare. Mrs. MADALYN McBROOM EDWARDS, age 87, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away on October 3, 2005 at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village. Graveside services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana, TX. She was born April 19, 1918 to Maude and Willie McBroom in Corsicana. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Edwards. She worked at Air Activities of Texas during World War II. And she also worked as church secretary at North Side Baptist Church, in the business office at the Corsicana State Home for 19 years, and as a cashier at Humbert's Hickory House for 17 years. She is survived by her son, Don Edwards and his wife Deidra of Manhattan, Kansas. Daughters, Donna Potts and her husband Stanley of Haslet, TX and Janice Humbert and her husband Brantley of Corsicana. She is also survived by five granddaughters, one grandson, four great grandsons, and one great granddaughter. The family wishes to thank the administrative staff, the nursing staff and aides of Heritage Oaks Retirement Village and Hospice of Cedar Lake for the quality care and concern extended to our loved one. Ludy Watson passed away at her home on Sunday evening in Corsicana, Texas after waging a long battle with Lung Cancer. She was born on September 7, 1939 in Navarro, Texas. Ludy was a Nursing Assistant for Corsicana Nursing Home. She enjoyed her hobby doing woodcraft.
She is survived by her Brother and Sister-in-Law Lee Daniel and Katie Ledwell, of Frost, Her Sister and Brother-in-Law Frances Harris and Cecil Hayes, of Austin, Her Sister Joyce Collins of Corsicana, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. She will be dearly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her son Baxter Lee Watson, parents Percy Baxter and Anna Lee Ledwell, her Brother and Sister-in-Law Baxter and Lucille Ledwell and her Brother-in-Law Marion Collins.

He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Giles Sr.; and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Leona Giles of Corsicana; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Eddie King of Tyler; daughter-in-law, Pam Giles-Sharp of Tennessee Colony; grandsons, Lance King and wife Donna of Bullard, Chad King and wife Courtney of Athens and Gregory Giles Jr. of Tennessee Colony, currently serving in Iraq; granddaughter, Gina Pettiette and husband James of Bowling Green, Ky.; great-grandsons, Chance King of Bullard and Noble King of Palestine; great-granddaughter, Grace Giles of Palestine; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Edna Giles of Houston; sister-in-law, Billie Giles of Corsicana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald D. Washburn
July 24, 1932 - Oct 12, 2005

Donald D. Washburn, age 73, longtime resident of Ennis died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the Ennis Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 24, 1932 in Corsicana, Texas, to Felix and Abbie Washburn. Don married Rosemary King on December 26, 1951, in Waco, Texas. After graduating from mortician school, he made the funeral home rounds in Corsicana, Waxahachie and Ennis before leaving funeral service in 1959 to pursue a different avenue. In 1965, the Washburns moved to Houston where Don began managing a plant for Data Documents. Within three years, he was appointed vice president of the company, which was headquartered in Omaha. When they built a new plant in Hutchins, Washburn jumped at the chance to move back to Ennis, where he continued at Data Documents for a few more years and then started three different businesses — a software company, a produce store and Bubba’s BBQ — all of which he eventually sold. Returning to funeral service, Don worked at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home for the past 20 months. He was very active in the Methodist Children’s Home in Waco where he currently served as a Commissioner and a Wrangler at Boys Ranch. Don was a promoter of Ennis football and an active member of the Lionbacker Club. For the past 25 years, Washburn has been the voice of Lion football, announcing all the home games. During the off season Don and Rosemary take to the road in their RV.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rosemary of Ennis, three children, Ron Washburn and his wife Kellee, Randy Washburn and his wife Norma, and Melanie Northcutt all of Ennis; grandchildren, Christy Liska, Ronnie Washburn, Jr., Tim Yrlas, Michael Yrlas, Jennifer Washburn, Katie Yrlas, Jacob Yrlas, Randy Washburn, Jr., Jason Washburn, and Shannon Cowan; seven great grandchildren, sister, Louise Prince; brothers, Charles Washburn and Felix Washburn.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at the First United Methodist Church, 300 N. Sherman, Ennis, Texas. Interment will follow at the Myrtle Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Methodist Boys Home, P.O. Box 5010, Waco, Texas 76708.

Virginia L. Williams, 65 of Corsicana. Passed away October 12, 2005 in Corsicana. Ms. Williams was born to Lee Williams and Nellene Ivy Williams August 12, 1940 in Frost Texas.

Clyde Luther Roloff

Clyde Luther Roloff, 94, of Dawson passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at a Corsicana retirement home.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Wade Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with the Rev. Brad Brittain officiating. Interment will follow at Dawson Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Hue Hillis, Leon McLain, Gene McLain, Bill Roloff, Ben Roloff and L.C. Chambers. Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Summers, Dan Griffin, Clark Putman, A. J. Renfro, Bobby Duke and Rudy Roloff.
Mr. Roloff was born March 16, 1911, to Rudolph John “R.J.” and Winnie (Sawyer) Roloff in the rural area around Dawson. He had lived all of his life in the Dawson area, was a rancher and farmer and served on the Dawson ISD school board and the Dawson City Council. Mr. Roloff was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dawson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 68 years, Callie (Jordan) Roloff; son-in-law, Kenneth Thompson; and brother, Ervin Roloff.
Mr. Roloff is survived by his daughter, Beverly Thompson of Waxahachie; brother, Vernon Roloff of Dawson; sisters, Mary McLain of Dawson, Margie Roloff of Corsicana and Opal Hillis and husband Jake of Dawson; grandsons, Clyde Thompson and wife Dawn of Dallas and Troy Thompson and wife Vicki of Waxahachie; great-granddaughters, Kayla and Kimberly Thompson of Waxahachie; great-grandsons, Noah and Sawyer Thompson of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Dawson.

Joyce Ellis Rogers, born Jan. 3, 1934 in Navarro County, passed away Oct. 14, 2005 at the Twilight Home in Corsicana.

Joyce is preceded in death by daughter, Linda Gale; grandson, Shae Rogers; parents, Earl and Birdie Ellis; and sister, Peggy Louise.
Joyce is greatly honored by her three children who loved her dearly to the end — son, Mike Rogers and wife Stacy; daughters, Brenda Lewis and Vicky Prater and husband Harold, all of Corsicana. Joyce is also survived by a loving family — sisters, Anny Woods and friend Jim Williams, Lois Brafford and Wayne, Linda Bedenbaugh and Chuck, and Barbara Floyd and Steve; brother, Ken Ellis and Linda; four grandchildren; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Vaola “Jimmie” Conrad of Corsicana went to be with the Lord Sunday October 16, 2005. Graveside service will be at Richland Cemetery with immediate family by her request on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. , Rev. Bill Honea officiating under the direction of Corley Funeral Home. Vaola was born on October 21, 1916 in Richland and graduated from Richland High School in 1935. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Whitehouse, Texas before moving to Corsicana. She and her husband lived in Shreveport, LA for many years where they owned and operated a successful business. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest B. Conrad, September 24, 2002. Also her parents, two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by one sister, Vanus DeArmon of Wichita Falls, one brother, Joe McGaugh and wife Doris of Corsicana, one step son Dennis Conrad and wife Mary of Janesville, Minn and a number of nieces and nephews.


Kathy Marlenia Cannon

Kathy Marlenia Cannon, resident of Corsicana, Texas passed away Sunday October 16, 2005 at the age of 48 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Teddy Cannon and Edith Faye Blood. Brother Harlan Cannon and sister Carolyn Thomas Step Father David Blood. Kathy was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren knew her as "Big Mama". Kathy could be characterized as being free spirited, having goodwill towards others. Her family was her life and she loved them dearly.
She is survived by her grandmother Kathryn Frazier of Leon, Oklahoma. Daughter and son-in-law: April Cannon Nelson and Timothy Wayne Nelson of Corsicana. Grandchildren Winter Faye Nelson and Timothy Larry Nelson. Sisters: Lillian Brown and husband Kenneth of Coriscana, Betty Stewart of Moeffet, Texas, Harriett Brown of Temple, Texas, and Fran Gainer of Belton, Texas. Brothers: Teddy Guy Cannon and Tracy Cannon both of Fort Worth , Texas.
Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

HAROLD B. WATSON

Harold B. “Toppy” Watson died at his home in Corsicana on October 17. Visitation will be held 6 to 8p.m. Wednesday, October 19, at Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 20, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with the Dr. Robert Young officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Toppy was born September 9, 1929, in Corsicana. His parents were Harold and Josephine Watson. He graduated from Corsicana High School, and served in the US Army as a tank commander at Camp Hood in the 2nd Armored Division, 66 Tank Battalion. As a member of original Barracks bunch, he played football for Navarro Junior College. He graduated from Navarro Junior College and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University. After graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Arliss Shell, and began a 35-year career with Otis Engineering Corporation, a subsidiary of Halliburton. His career took him from beginning helper to manager of western hemisphere foreign operations. He worked in southern Louisiana, New Mexico and South Texas before spending 21 years in Las Morochas and Maracaibo, Venezuela. Upon retirement, he and Arliss returned to Corsicana, where Toppy was active at Westminster Presbyterian Church and served as an elder. Her participated in the Road to Recovery program and drove cancer patients to Dallas for treatment. Toppy loved to garden, travel and to spend time with his family. He is survived by Arliss, his wife of 53 years; two sons, Tres Watson, and wife, Margaret, of Dallas; and Bill Watson, and wife, Ruth, of College Station. He is also survived by one grandson, Christopher Watson of College Station. Other survivors are his brother Gus Watson of Denver, Colorado; his sister, Bunny Heroman of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and a number of nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to the Child and Family Program at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 312 N. 13th Street, Corsicana, Texas 75110 or Cedar Lake Hospice whose services are invaluable.

Thelma Loraine Hayden, 85, lifelong resident of Corsicana, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at Navarro Regional Hospital. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. B.F. Risinger Jr. officiating. She was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Corsicana. Known to her family as Mother, Granny, Sis or Aunt T, Thelma will be remembered with love for her caring and giving nature, her ever-present humor, and her sharp mind. Her family celebrates her life, which will live on as precious memories. Thelma has been reunited with her husband, Ray Hayden; her parents, Percy and Nonie Nowell of Corsicana; and her niece, Janice Elaine Nowell of Corsicana/Austin. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Darlynne Hayden of Duncanville and Ben and Sheila Hayden of Broken Arrow, Okla.; four grandchildren, Aaron Hayden and Aubree Hayden, both of Broken Arrow, Okla., Chris Hayden and wife Chris of DeSoto, and Ashley Gordon and husband Aaron of Dallas; and four great-grandchildren, Connor and Cara Hayden and Addison and Avery Gordon. Thelma is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Imogene Nowell of Corsicana; and a niece, Cindy Nowell of Santa Cruz, Calif.
