The girl on the float is Ann Scarborough Johnson, daughter of Judge Hawkins Scarborough and Bessie Miller Scarborough, daughter of Dr. T.A. Miller. The 9th one has "Travis School" under the float and she's wearing a sash that reads: "Friendship." She was 11 at the time and passed away in January 2006 in Corsicana [Obituary]. .... Elizabeth Scarborough
