Sgt. James C. McLaughlin, son of Mrs. J. P. McLaughlin, Corsicana.  Husband of the former Eugene Thompson.  Attended Eustace Schools and N.T.S.T.C.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained with the Air Corps at Waco Army Air Field.  Discharged, 1943.
MCMANUS, PHILLIP C.
Pfc. Phillip C. McManus, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. McManus, attended Mildred Schools.  Entered the Army in 1943, training at Camp Roberts, Calif.  Served in Philippines, Guadalcanal, New Caledonia, New Zealand and New Guinea.
McMICHAEL, ALBERT E.
T/Sgt. Albert E. McMichael, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. McMichael, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert D. McMichael, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Susie Bonner.  Gradaute of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained in the Air Corps as Engineer and Top Turret Gunner at Sheppard Field, Tyndall Field, Westover, Utah, Mountain Home, Idaho.  Served in Pacific Area.  Has DFC, Air Medal with Six Clusters, Five Battle Stars, Purple Heart.  Wounded in Pacific, 1944.  Now serving as instructor of Hydraulic at Chanute Field Ill.

McMILLAN, JAMES E.
Pvt. James E. McMillan, son of Mrs. Alma Womack, Corsicana.  Attended school in Corsicana.  Entered the Marines in 1942.  Trained at San Diego, Calif.  Served in Hawaii, Australia, Guadalcanal, New Britain. Awarded Good Conduct Badge.  Purple Heart, Presidential Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, and letter of commendation from Maj. W. H. Rupertus for meritious devotion to duty.  Killed in action at New Britain, Jan. 2, 1944

Cpl. James E. McMillen, son of Mrs. Lawson Rackley, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Helen L. Griffin.  Graduate of Emhouse High School.  Entered the Marines in 1942.  Trained at San Diego.  Served in Oahu, Espiritu Santos, Guadalcanal, Bougainville, Emirau, Bismarck Archipalego.  Has Presidential Citation.  Commendation by Comdr. Air Squadrons, Solomons.  Now on duty in San Diego, Calif.
McMULLAN, ROBERT B.
Lt. Robert B. McMullan, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. McMullan, husband of the former Thelma Montgomery.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, training at Luke Field.  Served in Europe, China, Burma, India Theater.  Now at Ft. Logan Convalescent Hospital.

S/Sgt. Albert D. McMullan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert D. McMullan, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained in Field Artillery at Camp Hood, Ft. Sill and Camp Howze.  Served in Germany, France, and Austria.  Now in European Theater.
McNABB, BILLIE J.
S 1/C Billie J. McNabb, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. McNabb, graduate of Emhouse High School. Entered the Navy 1943, training at Corpus Christi and San Bruno, Calif. Served in Philippines, where he was wounded, 1945. Now in hospital at Oakland, Calif.

McNEEL, DAVID C.
Sgt. David C. McNeel, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. McNeal, husband of former Maye Buckley. Attended school at Pettys Chapel. Entered the Marines in 1942, training at San Diego. Served in Pacific, and killed at Pelilieu, Sept. 16, 1944.

McNeel of Houston, graduated from the Richland High School.  Entered the Navy in 1944, trained at San Diego and Camp Elliott, California.  Has been serving aboard a Navy Plane in the South Pacific for the past year.  Has Combat Ribbons with Bronze Stars.
McNEEL, ARTICE B.
AMM 2/C Artice B. McNeel, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Y. McNeel, graduated at Spring Hill School.  Entered Naval Air Corps July , 1943, trained at Corpus Christi and Norman, Okla.  Now on duty at Whiting Field, Fla.  Awarded wings of NAC.

McNeill, son of Mr. Tom McNeill, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Mary Sue Hart, attended Irene Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at jefferson Barracks, Santa Maria, Santa Anita.  Has served in South Pacific with 5th Air Force, now on duty with 59th Air Service Group, 5th Air Force, in Pacific.  Has 3 Bronze Stars.
McNERNEY, FRANCIS M.
Cpl. Francis M. McNerney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milchael McNerney, husband of the former Miss Bethel Stallings, graduate of Lewis High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Armored Division at Camp Hood, Camp Swift, Ft. Knox, and Camp Roberts.  Has been in Atlantic, now in Philippines.
McNUTT, JACK S.
Sp. (A) 1/c Jack S. McNutt, son of Mrs. Viola McNutt, husband of the former Miss Elizabeth Duncan, graduate of Corsicana High School. Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at San Diego and Bainbridge, Md. Now on duty at Naval Ordnance Station, Inyokern, California.

Pvt. Lee McNutt, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee W. McNutt, graduate of Corsicana High School, attended Montgomery Bell Academy and Vanderbilt University, Nshville. Entered service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Shelby, Indiantown Gap, Fort Benjamin Harrison. Now on duty at Fort dix.
McPHERSON, LAWRENCE F.
Pfc. Lawrence F. McPherson, son of the late Mr. J. L. and Mrs. Sadie McPherson, husband of the former Miss Clara June Tague, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at San Antonio, and Kelly Field.  Now on duty at San Bernardino, California.  Has Good Conduct and Marksmanship Medals.

MEADOR, HOMER L.
Pvt. Homer L. Meador, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Meador, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Odessa Follis, attended Kerens.  Entered the Army on Nov. 3, 1944, trained with the Infantry at Camp Hood.  has served in the Philippines and now on duty at Luzon.
