Pvt. Charles E. Meador, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Meador, graduate of Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained in the Army at Camp Barkley.  Served in England before being discharged 1945.
MEADOR, THOMAS D.
Pfc. Thomas D. Meador, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Meador, husband of former Jeanne Coiteux.  Attended Eureka Schools.  Entered service 1940.  Trained with the Army at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding and Camp Edwards.  Served n Panama where he is now on duty.  Ha Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon.
MEADOR, LOUIE H.
Sgt. Louie H. Meador, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Meador, husband of the former Eunice Garrett.  Attended Mildred Schools.  Entered service 1940.  Trained with 36th Division of Army at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding, and Camp Edwards.  Served in N. Africa, Italy, France, and Germany.  Discharged 1945.  Has Five Bronze Stars, and Good Conduct Medal.
MEADOR, BILLY L.
Pfc. Billy L. Meador, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Meador, attended Kerens High School.  Entered the Army in 1944, training with the Infantry at Camp Croft, S.C. and Camp Shelby, Miss.  Served in England, France, Belgium and in Germany where he is now on duty.
MEDLIN, WALTER H.
Pvt. Walter H. Medlin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Medlin, formerly of Rice.  Entered the Army in 1944, training at Camp Hood, Texas.  Served in Manila and Luzon where he is now on duty.
MEGARITY, JACK
S/Sgt. Jack Megarity, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Megarity, Sr., graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1940.  Trained in the Army at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding and Camp Edwards.  Served in Africa, Italy, France and Germany.  Now on duty with the 36th Div.  Received Commendation from Gen. Walker for efficiency in handling ammunitions and men under his instruction.

Melton, Emhouse.  Husband of former Anna Laws.  Graduate of Emhouse.  Husband of former Anna Laws.  Graduate of Emhouse High School, and A&M College.  Entered service Feb, 1943, training in the Anti-Aircraft Division at Camp Joseph T. Robinson, Haan, Camp Davis, Camp Howze and Camp Swift.  Served in France and Germany.
MELTON, E., JR.
Cpl. E. Melton, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Melton, Emhouse.  Attended Emhouse Schools.  Entered service July 21, 1944.  Trained in Inf. Engineers at Camp Wolters.  Has Expert Rifle Badge.  Now on duty in Italy.
MELTON, ETHAN W.
S/Sgt. Ethan W. Melton, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Melton of Frost.  Graduate of Blooming Grove High School.  Entered the Air Corps Dec 29, 1941.  Served in Africa, Sicily, Italy, India.  Now on duty at Greenville, S.C. as instructor.  Has Air Medal, Distinguished Flying Cross and Pres. Citation.
MELTON, JOHNNIE G.
Pfc. Johnnie F. Melton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Melton, Corsicana.  Attended school in Tenn.  Entered the Army Medical Corps in 1942, training at Camp Barkley and Camp Campbell.  Discharged 1944.

Cpl. Arthur A. Melton, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Melton, Corsicana, husband of the former Louise Grace, attended School at Pickett.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, trained at Blackland Army Air Field, Waco and Greensboro, N.C.  Now on duty as M. P. at Panama.

MERRELL, HOWARD
Pfc. Howard Merrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Merrell, Rice, husband of the former Miss Almarene Buzan, graduate of Rice High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Gordon Johnston and Camp Beale.  Has served in Phillippines at Leyte, now on duty on Luzon.

Corps in 1943, trained at Kelley Field and Stinson Field, Texas.  Awarded 2 Ribbons in the Pacific Theater and the Bronze Star.  Now on duty in New Guinea.

Pvt. Debs D. Mershawn, son of Mrs. Eula Foster, husband of the former Miss Orene Cook, attended Corsicana, Texas (sic).  Entered service 1942, trained at Camp Polk, Fort Benning, and Desert Training Center, Cal.  Has served in England, France, Luxembourg, Holland and Germany, now on duty in Czechoslovakia.  Has 5 Campaign Stars.

S/Sgt. Ralph L. Metcalf, son of Mr. A. S. and the late Mrs. Metcalf, husband of the former Miss May Lee Gunter, attended Zion's Rest School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Big Springs where he is still stationed.

Cpl. Henry Lloyd Metcalf, son of Albert S.  Metcalf, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Mary Ruth Baker, attended Zion's Rest School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Kerns, Utah, Chanute, Field, Ill., and Camp Luna, New Mexico.  Now on duty at Homestead Airbase, Fla.

S/Sgt. Albert R. Metcalf, son of Albert S. Metcalf, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Geraldine Fay Lewis, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1940, trained with Army Air Corps at Chanute Field.  Has served in Puerto Rico, St. Croix, Antiqua, Trinidad and Cuba, now on duty at Seymore Field, N.C.  Has good conduct Ribbon, American Defense Ribbon with Bronze Star.
