Sam Houston, Texas.  Served in France with Airborne Div.  Awarded Purple Heart posthumously.  Killed in Les Bruyers, France, June 26, 1944.

Cpl. Therrell K. Miller, son of Mrs. J. A. Miller, Purdon, husband of the former Miss Mary E. Sansom, attended Purdon Schools.  Entered Army, 1939, trained with Army at Camp McCoy, Fort Sam Houston and Ft. Sill.  Has served in Ireland, England, France, Belgium, Germany and Czechoslovakia, discharged, 1945.  Has 5 Bronze Stars, Campaign Ribbons and American Defense Medal.

Sgt. Roy Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Miller, husband of the former Miss Flora Nichols, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Roberts.  Has served in Aleutians, Hawaii, Leyte, wounded on Leyte, 1944, now in Hospital at Modesto, California.  Awarded Purple Heart, Infantry Combat Badge and other Honors.

Cpl. Marvin A. Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Miller, graduate of Corsicana and Hillsboro College.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Air Corps at Waco Army Air Field.  Now on duty at Kelly Field, San Antonio.  Has Good Conduct Badge.

Miller, Kerens.  Entered the Air Corps in 1941, trained at Camp Robinson, Spokane, Washington, Portland, Oregon, Riverside, Calif.  Sent overseas in 1943, served in France, Norway, and Sweden.  Has Good Conduct Medal, Unit Citation with 7 Battle Stars, now on duty in Pueblo, Colo.
