Pfc. Leonard O. Odom, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Odom, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained with Army at Camp Wallace.  Served in European Theater and is now on duty in India.

Pvt. Dexter Odom, son of Mrs. Susie Odom.  Wife, the former Sue Hutson.  Attended Mildred Schools.  Entered service 1944.  Trained with Marines at San Diego.  Transferred to 131st Aviation Squadron.  Discharged 1944.
OGBURN, WILLIAM E.
Pvt. William E. Ogburn, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Ogburn, Powell.  Wife, the former Gladys Coffee.  Attended Mildred Schools.  Entered service 1944.  Trained with Army at Camp Wolters, Ft. Riley, Kan., where he is now on duty.

OLIPHANT, HOWARD J.
Sgt. Howard J. Oliphant, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. I. Oliphant, Kerens, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Air Corps Oct., 1942, training and receiving wings at Harlingen, Texas.  Served in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.  Now assigned to B-29 for Pacific duty.  Has individual Citation, Air Medal, Oak Leaf Cluster.
OLIPHANT, THOMAS
Pfc. Tommie Oliphant, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. I. Oliphant, Kerens.  Attended Kerens High School.  Entered the Marines March, 1944.  Trained at San Diego, Calif.  Served on Hawaii, Leyte and Philippines.  He is now assigned to Headquarters Squadron on Okinawa Island.

OLSEN, WILLIAM W., JR.
Pvt. William W. Olsen, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Olsen, Sr., Wife the former Jane Hill. Graduate of Mildred Schools Entered service 1944. Trained with Army at Camp Wolters. Served in Philippines, where he is now on duty. Has Combat Inf. Badge.

O'NEAL, ALVIE L.
Y 2/C Alvie L. O'Neal, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. O'Neal, graduate of Powell High School.  Entered the Navy in Feb., 1944, training at San Diego, Calif.  Served in New Hebrides, New Caledonia, Guadalcanal and the Philippines where he is now on duty.

Pvt. Estes O'Neal, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. O'Neal, Rice.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained at Sheppard Field.  Died while in training at Sheppard Field, July, 1943.

Pvt. William C. O'Neal, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. O'Neal. Wife is the former Jessie L. Standard. Attended Emhouse High School Also Texas A&M College. Entered service, 1945. Trained in the Army at Camp Hood where he is on duty at present.

S 1/C Roy W. O'Neal, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. O'Neal, Rice.  Attended Rice High School.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained with Navy at Corpus Christi and San Diego.  Now on duty in South Pacific.

O'NEILL, NEIL
T/Sgt. Neil O'Neil, son of Mr. E. C. O'Neil, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1941, trained with 56th Air Engineers Sqdn at Various Army Air Fields.  Has served in Marianas and on Iwo Jima, now on duty in Guam in Charge of a Mobile Unit.
ONSTOT, HOWARD C.
T/5 Howard C. Onstot, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Onstot, Austin, husband of the former Miss Virginia Butler, graduate of Donna High School, Southwestern and S.M.U.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army Service Force at Camp Robinson, University of Minnesota, Camp Lee and fort Bragg.  Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany, where now on duty.

O'QUINN, EUGENE G., JR.
Y 3/C (T) Eugene G. O'Quinn, son of Mrs. Emma O'Quinn, Richland, attended Mildred High School and Tyler Commercial College.  Entered Navy, 1944, trained with Navy at San Diego.  Has served in Cuba, Pearl Harbor, Guam, Iwo Jima, Okinawa and now on duty aboard an L.S.T. in the Pacific.  Wears Pacific Ribbon with Bronze Star.
OSBORNE, HUGH L.
Cpl. Hugh L. Osborne, son of Mr. Ellis B. Osborne, Corsicana, graduate of Frost High School. Entered service 1942 trained with Army at Ft. Riley. Sent overseas, 1942 served in Africa, Italy, France and Germany, now on duty in Munich, Germany. Has 4 Battle Stars.
OSBORNE, CALVIN W.
S 1/C Calvin W. Osborne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Osborne, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Lila Harwell, graduate of Corsicana High School. Entered the navy in 1943, trained in San Diego, Calif. Now on duty in the Pacific Islands where he has been since going into the service.

OWEN, WILBUR H.
Pvt. Wilbur H. Owen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Owen, Corsicana, attended Pursley School.  Entered Army, 1942, trained at Camp Roberts, Calif.  Has served on Solomon and Pearl Harbor.  Was patient in Hospital in New Zealand, now on duty at Camp Robinson, Ark.  as guard. Awarded Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with 3 Battle Stars.
OWEN, ROBERT H.
Pfc. Robert H. Owen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Owen, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Grace Hamilton, attended Petty's Chapel.  Entered Air Corps, 1942, trained at Moore Field, Texas.  Now on duty at Moore Field.
OWEN, CHOYCE L.
Cpl. Choyce L. Owen, son of Mr. J. R. Owen, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Marines at San Diego.  Has served in Pacific Theater, now on duty at Beauford, N.C.  Has Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, American Theater Ribbon and Presidential Citation.
OWEN, BILLIE J.
S 1/C Billie Joe Owen, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Owen, Corsicana, attended school at Barry.  Entered the Navy in 1942, trained at San Diego, Calif.  Now on duty at Coronada, California.
