T/Sgt. George W. Slover, son of Mrs. W. J. Slover, Lubbock, husband
of the former Miss Dorothy Jenkins, Corsicana. Entered Army
March, 1941, trained a Ft. Sill, Okla., San Luis Obispa and ft. Ord,
Calif. Has served in Alaska, Attu, Hawaii, Kwajalein, Leyte,
Saipan, now on duty on Okinawa. Has letter of commendation for
outstanding work during battle of Kwajalein.

Corsicana schools and A&M College. Entered service, 194?,
trained with Air Corps at San Antonio, Ellington Field, Midland.
Has served in South Pacific, missing in action on Tajian Island,
1945, now on duty at Dutch Indies. Has Air Medal.

Marti, and Samar in the Philippines, returned to states April, 1945.
Has 48 missions as aerial gunner aboard a B-24 Liberator.
D.F.C., Air Medal, 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, Philippines Liberation with
2 Battle Stars, Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with 4 Battle Stars and
