VONN ALLEN McCULLOUGH
Vonn Allen McCullough, son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry McCullough.  Husband of the former Mildred Johnson of Fort Worth.  Attended Powell High School and T.C.U.  Entered service in May 1941, training in Calif. and saw combat on Guam, in the Philippines with the Air Transport Command.  Discharged in October 1945.
EARL McDANIEL, JR.
Sgt. Earl McDaniel, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl McDANIEL, Sr. of Richland. Attended Richland School.  Served in the U.S. Air Force, training at Camp Wolters, Mineral Wells; stationed at James Connally Air Force Base, Waco, Gunter Field, Uvalde, Goodfellow Field, San Angelo. Served as an Air Force Link Trainer Instructor.

HARLEY R. McDANIELS, REV.
Chaplain Harley R. McDaniels, former pastor of Blooming Methodist Church and Hillsboro Methodist Church. Volunteered for service as a chaplain in the U.S. Army in early 1942. Served in the European area. Killed in action on Nov. 26. of that year in Italy.  KILLED IN ACTION

GEORGE F. McDONALD
Sgt. George F. McDonald, 507 Parachute Reg., attached to the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divs. Entered service in August 1943, training at Ft. Benning, Ga. and sent to Port Rush, Ireland.  Served in Normandy, N. France, Rhineland and Central Europe, participating in the D-Day invasion and the Battle of the Bulge, and Germany during the occupation. Awarded the Purple Heart. Son of George F. and Georgia Barnes McDonald of Shreveport, La. Husband of the former Gene (Geneva) Page.

S/Sgt. Johnny Homer McDonald, son of Fulton T. and Minnie L. McDonald. Married to Marie McDonald. Graduate of G. W. Jackson High School, Corsicana. Served in the U.S. Air Force in 1947, serving in Germany. Retired after over 20 years in the service.

DAVID WIER McELWRATH
Capt. David Wier McElwrath, son of Frank P. and Marianne McElwrath.  Husband of the former Essie Elizabeth Slaugter. Graduate of Texas A. & M. Served with the 42nd Field Artillery, 4th Inf. Div., 3rd Army, in the European Theater and Normandy Invasion.  Awarded Silver Star for gallantry in action in Cherbourg, France, Bronze Star, Purple Heart. During occupation of Germany, he was he Beurgermeister (Mayor) of Eichstat, Germany. Awarded several unit citations.

WILBUR W. McENTIRE
1st Sgt. Wilbur W. McEntire, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. T. McEntire. Attended Bryan School and various military schools.  Husband of the former Nadine Medley of Bowie. Entered service in 1939. Captured on Bataan and Made "Death March."  Prisoner in P.I. camps and Japan camps. Whereabouts unknown to family for 3 years. Released after 42 Months. Awarded Air Medal, Philippine Defense, 1 Bronze Star, American Defense with 1 Bronze Star, Asiatic-Pacific with 2 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct, Distinguished Unit Badge.

1st Lt. Jack McFerran, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley McFerran of Lavaca, Ark. Husband of the former Mary Sue Lyon. Entered service Aug 18, 1941, training at Ft. Warren, Wyo. Stationed in Air Corps at Muroc Air Base, Calif., Kelly Field, Texas, Biggs Field, El Paso, Texas.  Served in 8th Air Force, England from Oct. 1943 to Aug 1945. Discharged Dec. 7, 1945.

Cpl. E. D. (Don) McGraw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred McGraw of Blooming Grove. Attended schools in Barry, Frost and Blooming Grove where he graduated in 1945. Volunteered for service in January 1946, had post-war duties in regular army with detachment in Air Force. Patrolled the Caribbean area for 13 months in Air Corps. Honorably discharged Dec 1, 1949.

Pvt. Dorsey McGraw, son of Horace and Lena McGraw. Husband of the former Louesther Holliefield. Entered the U.S. Army Apri. 24, 1944, training at Ft. Bliss, El Paso. Served in Medical Unit as male nurse in Eugene, Ore., Washington, Bushnell Gen. Hospital, Brigham City Utah. Honorably discharged May 26, 1946.

Commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps in May 1945. Stationed in Green Cove Springs, Fla. with a Corsair Fighter Sq. Placed on inactive duty in March 1945.
