Chrisman, and husband of former Delma Garrison, graduated from Kerens High School.  entered the Air Corps Dec 1942, training at Santa Anna, Lemoore Field, Kings City, Calif., Scott Field, Ill., Bryan Field, Tex. Now on duty as Link Instructor at Frederick, Oklahoma.

Chief J. Earnest Christian, son of Mrs. Etta Christian, Rice.  Attended Texas University.  Entered the Navy 1942, training at Davisville, R. I. Served in Bermuda Islands and is now on duty at Guam.

Cpl. Emory P. Christian, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Christian, graduate of Powell High School.  Entered service 1940, training with 36th Division at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding, Camp Edwards and camps in Carolina.  Served in North Africa and Italy.  Now on duty in Italy.  Has Good Conduct, Pistol Medal and 2 Battle Stars.
CHUMNEY, JESS W.
T/5 Jess W. Chumney, son of Mrs. Myrtle Chumney, Richland.  Wife is the former Charlie Healer Chumney.  Attended Richland School.  Entered service in 1942, training with 38th Cavalry Regt. in Ark., and Tex. Served in England and is now discharged.

CLAMPITT, FRANK G.
Pfc. Frank G. Clampitt, son of Mrs. Battie Clampitt, husband of former Anna Belle Paul.  Entered the Army in 1944, training at Camp Robinson, Ark., and Camp Gruber, Okla.  Served in Austria.  France, and Germany.  Participated in several battles.  Now on duty with 3rd Army in Austria.

Cadet Nurse Virginia Lee Clampitt, daughter of Mrs. Bettie Clampitt, is a graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Cadet Nurses Corps in July, 1944, and is now at St. Pauls School of Nursing, Dallas, Tex.
CLARK, EDWARD D.
A/S Edward D. Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Clark.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Naval Reserves in 1943, training at San Diego.  Honorable discharge after two months of service.
CLOWE, HARRY A., JR.
Sgt. Harry A. Clowe, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Clowe, husband of former Catherine Coggins.  Graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, training at Majors Field, Texas, and Dodd City Army Air Field, Kan.  Is now on duty at Randolph Field, San Antonio.

Sgt. Howard B. Coates, son of Mrs. J. E. McCluney, husband of former Billie Ruth Arnold.  Graduated from Kerens High School.  Mobilized with 36th Div., Nov. 1940, training at Camp Blanding, Fla., Camp Edwards, Mass.  Now on duty at Camp Gardon Johnson, Fla.
COATES, DONOVAN R.
Sgt. Donovan R. Coates, son of Mrs. J. E. McCluney, husband of former Vera Preston, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Air Corps Sept., 1942, training at Kelly Field, Tex., Altus Field, Okla.  Served in England and France.  Now on duty at Marsielle, France.

T/Sgt. Bruce C. Coates, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Coates, Kerens, husband of the former Miss Clara McSween, Kerens, husband of the former Miss Clara McSween, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered Air Corps April 7, 1942, trained at Sheppard Field, Lockhead School, Las Vegas, Calif.  Has served 20 Months in Australia, New Guinea, N.E. Indies, at present crew chief on P-38 in the Philippines.
CLUBB, JESSIE L.
T/4 Jessie L. Clubb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Clubb, husband of the former Miss Mary Lou Warner, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Infantry at Ft. Knox, where now on duty.
COATNEY, ROBERT D.
Pvt. Robert D. Coatney, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Coatney, attended Kerens High School.  Entered Marines Nov. 1943, trained at U.S.N.T.S. San Diego, and Camp Elliott, Calif.  Has served with 1st Marine Div., in Carolines and Peliliu Islands, now on duty on Okinawa Island.
COBB, FREDERICK L.
Sgt. Frederick L. Cobb, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Cobb, Barry, husband of the former Miss Angess Winslade.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Army at Camp Hulen.  Has served in Australia, New Guinea, and the Philippines, where now on duty.
COBB, DAVIS J.
M.O.M.M. 3/C Davis J. Cobb, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Cobb, Barry.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at San Diego.  Has served in Okinawa, Philippines, Guam and Iwo Jima.  Now on duty in the Philippines.
COBB, WALLACE T.
Pvt. Wallace T. Cobb, son of Mr. J. B. Cobb, Corsicana, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1944, trained at Amarillo, Texas, Madison, Wis. and Illinois.  Now on duty at Sheppard Field, Texas.
COCKRELL, WILLIAM E.
Pvt. William E. Cockrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Cockrell, Kerens, attended Rural Shade School.  Entered Army F.A. March, 1943, trained at Ft. Lewis, Wash., and Camp Phillips, Kansas.  Engaged in 4 Battles in ETO, now a patient at McClosky General Hospital, Temple, Texas.  Awarded Good Conduct Medal and Purple Heart, wounded Nov., 1944 in France.

Pvt. Marvin P. Cockrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Cockrell, Kerens, attended Rural Shade School.  Entered Army F.A. Jan., 1940, trained at Camp Hood and Camp Howze, Texas.  Enroute to Pacific Theater of War.
COFFEY, ALFORD
Pvt. Alvord Coffey, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Coffey, Corsicana, attended Petty's Chapel School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army Medical Corps at Camp Barkley.  Has served in Australia, New Guinea and now on duty in Philippines.
COFFEY, BEAUFORD C.
Pfc. Beauford C. Coffey, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Coffey, Corsicana, attended Purdon School School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army Signal Corps at Camp Bowie.  Has served in North Africa, Italy, France and now on duty in Germany.
