Emhouse Schools. Entered service in 1943, training in Tank
Corps at Ft. Lewis, Ft. Knox. Served in Holland, England,
Belgium, France and Germany where he is now on duty. Has
Good Conduct Ribbon.

Entered the Air Corps 1940, training at Ft. Sill, Okla., Harlingen

Philippines. Has Good Conduct Medal.

School, Dallas, Texas. Entered the Army 1942, training at
Camp Sutton, N.C. Camp Davis, N.C. Camp Polk, La., and Camp
Pickett, Va. Served in Bermuda, N. Africa, and Italy where
he is now on duty.

Major R. Hood Cheney Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. Hood Cheney, Sr.,
graduate of Corsicana High School and Southern Methodist
University. Entered the Air Corps 1941, training at Santa
Maria, Calif., Randolph and Kelly Field, Matagorda Isle and
Fla. Served overseas with 8th Air Force as pilot of
P-51. Now on duty as Squadron Commander in England.
Air Medal with 11 Clusters. |
