S/Sgt. Louis B. Daniel, Jr., son of Mrs. Nettie Sue Daniel, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered Army April 23, 1943, trained with the Infantry at Camp Wolters.  Has served in Australia and New Guinea and other stations in South Pacific, now on duty at Tourney General Hospital, Calif.

Cpl. Jere A. Daniel, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jere Daniel, graduate from Kerens High School and attended Texas A. & M.  Entered Army, F. A., Jan. 1943, trained at Ft. Sill, Okla., San Francisco, Calif.  Has served in Northern Ireland, E.T.O. Campaigns with 2nd Div., now on duty at Camp Swift, Tex.  Has 5 Major Battle Stars.

Pfc. Samuel G. Daniel, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Daniel, attended Corsicana High School.  entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Ellington Field, Texas.  Has served in England and now on duty in France.

T/Sgt. Woodrow W. Daniel, son of Andrew J. Daniel, husband of the former Jean Yeary, attended School at Lubbock, Tex.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Air Corps at Gardner Field, Taft. California, now on duty at Roswell, New Mexico.
DANIEL, TILDON W.
Pfc. Tildon W. Daniel, son of Andrew J. Daniel attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Pecos.  Has served in Philippines, Luzon, Manila, and Dutch East Indies, where on duty.

Pfc. Joseph W. Daniel, son of Mr. Andrew J. Daniel, attended Lubbock High School.  Entered service, 1940, trained at Brownwood, Louisiana, Mass., and Florida.  Has served In North Africa, Italy, France, and Germany.  Has Good Conduct and Marksmanship Medals.
DARBY, BOBBIE J.
H. A. 2/C Bobbie J. Darby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. I. Darby, Kerens, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Waves Aug 2, 1944, trained at Hunter College, N.Y. City, Dallas, Texas and Bethesda, Md.  Now on duty at Corpus Christi, Texas.

Darby, Kerens, Texas, husband of the former Virginia Johnson.  Entered Air Corps, 1940, trained at Barksdale Field, La., Baringuen Field, Puerto Rico.  Has served in Virgin Is., Labrador, and E.T.O. Ribbon with 4 Battle Stars, Pres. Citation, and Purple Heart, was wounded in Holland, 1943.
DARDEN, CHRISTEEN
Cpl. Christeen Darden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Darden, Purdon, graduated from Purdon High School.  Enlisted in the WAC, 2nd Signal Bn., trained at Ft. Des Moines, Iowa, Baltimore, Md., and Washington, D.C.  Has the Good Conduct Badge, the Presidential Citation, now on Duty in Washington, D.C.

Pfc. John W. Darden, son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Darden, Purdon, graduated from Purdon High School.  Entered the Army S. M. Corps in 1942, trained at Ft. Riley, Kansas and Camp Claiborne, La. Sent Overseas in 1943, served in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany.  Has Good Conduct Medal and 3 Battle Stars, now on duty in Germany.

Pvt. George M. Darden, son of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Darden, Purdon, husband of the former Miss Dorothy L. Priddy.  Entered service, 1945, trained with Army at Camp Hood, Camp Williams and Beaumont General Hospital, El Paso.

ARM 3/C George R. Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Davis, Dawson, graduate of Dawson High School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Naval Air Corps at Southwestern University, Great Lakes, Memphis, Purcell, Okla., Ft. Lauderdale Ream Field.  Now on duty in South Pacific.
DAVIS, HAROLD
T/5 Harold Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Davis, Purdon.  Entered Army, 1942, trained at Ft. Riley, Camp Adair and Camp Roberts.  Went overseas, 1944, served in Ireland, England, France, Belgium, Germany and Czechoslovakia.  Has 5 Major Battle Stars.

Davis of Corsicana, attended Powell High School.  Entered Air Corps in 1942, trained at Sheppard Field, in North Carolina and in New York.  Served overseas in North Africa, Sicily, England and France.  Wears Silver Star, Presidential Unit Citation Badge and good Conduct Ribbon.  Now on duty in Brazil.
DAVIS, WARREN D.
S 1/C Warren D. Davis, son of Mrs. W. J. Davis, Corsicana, husband of the former Maedean Clarkatan, graduate of Powell High Schools.  Entered service 1944 trained with Navy at San Diego, California, where he is now on duty.
DAVIS, LOWELL K.
Capt. Lowell K. Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Davis, Purdon, husband of the former Miss Frances Joyce, attended Purdon Schools and A & M College.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Air Corps at various bases in California.  Completed 50 Missions as a Bomber Pilot with 15th Air Force in Africa, Italy, now discharged.  Has Presidential Citation, and DFC.

DAVIS, LUTHER W., JR.
Pfc. Luther W. Davis, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Davis, Sr., attended Dawson Schools.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army at Camp Wolters.  Has served in England and France, killed in action in France, 1944.  Has Purple Heart.
