Pfc. Lloyd E. Armstrong, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Armstrong, attended Blooming Grove School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Fannin.  Has served in England, France, Germany, and Belgium, killed in action April 1945.  Has Combat Infantryman's badge.

Armstrong, husband of the former Miss Mildred Morea Salter, graduate from Emhouse High, Maxwell Field, Ala., Helena Aero Tech, Ark., Tyndall School.  Trained with Air Corps at Nashville, Tenn., Field and Boca Raton Field.  Has served in India and Burma, now on duty in India.  Has 3 Campaign Star and Bronze Star.

Armstrong, Birdwell, husband of the former Miss Sammie Strain, graduate of Bardwell High School, and E.T.S.T.C.  Entered service 1944, trained with Navy Reserves at Farragut, Idaho, Tacoma, Washington, Portland, Oregon.  Has served in American Theater, Asiatic-Pacific and in the Philippines Liberation.

S 1/C Wallace G. Armstrong, brother of James H. Armstrong.  Graduated from State Home High School.  Entered service 1942.  Trained with the Navy San Diego, Calif.  Served in Dutch Harbor, Alaska and in invasions of France and Italy.  Now on duty at Newport, Rhode Island.  Has Two Battle Stars and Group Citation.

Pvt. James L. Arnett, son of MR. and Mrs. Frank Arnet, entered service 1942.  Trained with Air Corps at Sheppard Field and is now on duty at Souix City, Iowa.

CSK George S. Arnett, son of the late W. D. Arnett and Mrs. W. D. Arnett, Kerens.  Attended Kerens High School.  Entered the Navy 1942, training at San Diego, Calif.  Served in So. Pacific.  Discharged 1945.

M. and the late Mrs. Arnett.  Wife is the former Ever Lenner Scaff.  Attended Emhouse High School.  Entered service 1942.  Trained with the Air Corps at Tarrant Field, Sheppard Field, Dodge City, Army Air Base.  Now on duty at Fredrick Army Air Base as a Mechanic and Aerial Engineer.

Pfc. Willie E. Arnold, son of Mrs Emma Arnold, Richland. Attended school at Richland. Entered service in 1943, training at Camp Barkley and Camp Maxey. Served in India where he is now on duty with Medical Corps carrying supplies to the front.

Pvt. John D. Aston, son of Mr. D. C. Aston, Wife, the former Nancy Lourine Stallings.  Attended Rich High School.  Entered service, 1944.  Trained with the Army at Camp Hood, Ft. Ord, and Camp Maxey.  Served in Pacific and is now on duty in Hawaii.
