AVEN, JOHNIE LEON
Sgt. Johnie Leon Aven, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Aven.  Wife is the former Thelma Lois Ficklen, graduated from Powell High School.  Entered service in 1942, training in the Ground Air Corps.  Served in Iceland and is now on duty in La.

H. A. 1/C Wilson L. Ayers, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Ayers Sr., graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy in 1945, training in Naval Hospital Corps at San Diego Calif.  Now on duty at New Orleans, La.

Pvt. Jimmie D. Baggett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack P. Baggett.  Graduate of Corsicana Schools and attended N.T.A.C. Arlington.  Entered services in 1945, training with Air Combat Crew at Kessler Field, Miss.

Tomlin.  Graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1943, training at Ellington Field, Lake Charles Air Field.  Served in Belgium and is now on duty in France.  Received Air Medal.

Pfc. Albert J. Bailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bailey, graduated from Blooming Grove High School.  Entered the Army in 1942, trained at Camp Roberts and Young, Calif.  Went overseas in 1944 and served in England, France and Germany.  Wears Good Conduct Medal and ETO Ribbon.  Now on duty in France.

Pvt. Jack T. Bain, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Bain, Sr., graduated from Kerens High School and attended University of Texas.  Entered the Army in 1945 and is now stationed at Camp Hood, Texas.
BAKER, HERSCHELL
Pvt. Herschell Baker, son of Mrs. Effie Rutherford, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, trained at Barksdale Field.  Served in France and is now on duty in England.  Wears Theater Ribbon.

Ph M 2/C Stoner Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Baker, husband of the former Miss Clara Webster, joined the Navy in 1941.  Trained at USNTS, San Diego, Calif.  Served in Pacific Theater.  Present assignment at Camp Shelton, Va.  Awarded 3 Battle Stars, PTO Ribbon and Good Conduct Medals.

Pfc. Jo Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Baker, husband of the former Miss Ruby Nell Albritton, mobilized with 36th Div. in 1940.  Trained at Camp Bowie and Camp Edwards, Mass.  Engaged in N. African, Italian, French and German Campaigns.  Honorable discharged June, 1945.  Awarded 5 Battle Stars and Theater Ribbons.
