"No

of them."- Ed Worthington
VICTORIA - Mitchell Beaux Hatley, Jan. 21, 2011 to Jan.
27, 2011 - We met you in June when you were just a speck
next to your sister in an ultrasound. We watched you
grow over the next few months and fell more and more in
love with you with every ultrasound we received. Daddy
picked out your name and dreamed of playing catch with
you in the backyard. Mommy couldn't wait to for you to
get here. You were a fighter and you never gave up. We
watched you come into this world at 7:48 a.m. and you
were as perfect then as when you left us too soon at
1:30 a.m. on Jan. 27, 2011. Even in your short time here
you brought so much joy to your family. You will be
remembered as that sweet little boy who fought his way
into this world and you kept fighting until the end.
Beaux don't be afraid. Daddy and Mommy will always dream
of you and never forget what love you brought into our
hearts. We will love you forever, like you always and
forever and ever our baby you will be.
We would like to thank all the nurses in the NICU at
Citizen's Hospital and the tireless work and care they
gave Beaux during his stay with them. We know this must
be hard for each of you but our memories will always be
fond of each one of you ladies. We also want to thank
Dr. Romeu, Dr. Gonzales, David Maddux and the doctors
and staff of Texas Children's Hospital in Houston for
the care they provided our little boy. We would also
want to thank our friend and pediatrician Dr. Matthew
Pesek at Texas Children's Hospital for being with us and
providing guidance as Beaux received his care.
Beaux is survived by his beautiful twin sister,
Charlotte Elizabeth; his loving parents, Micah and Erin
Hatley; his grandparents, Janie and Tony Hatley, TJ
O'Dowd, Merry and Martin O'Dowd; and many other loving
family members and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Mitchell Beaux's body was donated to Texas Children's
Hospital in hopes that they can find a treatment and
cure for the rare metabolic disorder that took his
life. |
