OBITUARY OF STONEWALL JACKSON MILLER

OBITUARY Died Near Frost
After an illness of only a few days, Stonewall J. Miller of Emmett
died Monday morning at 2:30.
He is survived by his wife and nine children. All were at the bedside
except a son who is in the navy and a married daughter who is ill.
The funeral took place at the Emmett Baptist church of which he was a
member. The services were conducted by Rev. H. A. Conway and the Masons
took charge at the grave. The services were concluded by members of the
Ku Klux Klan who placed a large "fiery cross" of flowers on the grave. A
large number of sorrowing friends who came to pay the last sad rites
attested to the esteem in which Mr. Miller was held.
