Pfc. N. J. Goodman, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Goodman, husband of the former Miss Imogene Putman, attended Blooming Grove School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, trained at Camp Roberts, Calif.  Went overseas in 1943, served in Aleutians.  Returned to States in 1944.  Now at Kearney Army Air Field.  Has Good Conduct and Theater Ribbon.

GOODWIN, CHESTER
Pfc. Chester Goodwin, son of T. A. Goodwin, husband of the former Miss Della Sims, entered the Army in 1944, Took basic training at Camp Wolters, Tex., Camp Robinson, Ark., and Ft. Ord, Calif.  Served at Hawaii, Marianas and Okinawa.  Presently assigned to Okinawa.  Has Theater Ribon.

GORDON, ALVIN H.
1st Lt. Alvin H. Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Gordon, husband of the former Miss Ruth Bingham, attended Frost Schools.  Entered the Army in 1934, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Ft. Leonard Wood and Ft. McClellan.  Served 2 years before the war in Philippines and has served in France, Germany and Belgium since the war was declared.  Has Theater Ribbon and Silver Star.

Sgt. Roy A. Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Gordon, attended Emhouse School.  Entered the Army in 1940, trained at Camp Bowie.  Served in N. Africa, Italy, France and Germany.  Discharged in 1945.  Has EAME Ribbon, 5 Bronze Stars, Bronze Arrowhead, American Defense Medal and Good Conduct.

T/Sgt. John B. Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.O. Gordon, attended Blooming Grove School. Entered the Marines in 1942, trained at San Diego. Served in Pacific and is now stationed at El Centro, Calif. Has Asiatic and S. Pacific Campaign Ribbons with 2 Bronze Stars.

Pfc. Earl R. Gorden, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Crocker, husband of the former Miss Mary Ella Cardin, attended Vernon High School.  Entered the Army Medical Corps in 1943, trained at Camp Abbot, Ft. Lewis Abilene.  Discharged in 1945.  Now at Harmon General Hospital, Longview, Texas.
GORDEN, BILLY D.
Pfc. Billy D. Gorden, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Gorden, husband of the former Miss Inez Odom, entered the Marines in 1943.  Trained at San Diego and served at Pearl Harbor and the South Pacific.  Was wounded in 1944 at Pelieu.  Now on duty at Camp LeJeune, N.C.  Has Theater Ribbon.

Major Hue L. Gordon, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Gordon, husband of the former Miss Margaret Roxburgh, entered service in 1940 with National Guard.  Trained with Field Artillery at Camp Bowie, Ft. Sill, Camp Maxey, Camp Gruber, Camp Chaffee.  Went overseas in 1944.  Served in European Theater.  Now in Army of Occupation.  Wears Theater Ribbon.

Pfc. Claude L. Gorden, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Crocker, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service in 1944, trained with US Marines at San Diego and Oceanside, Calif.  Wounded on Leyte.  Now at Rest Camp at Santa Fe, Calif.  Has Presidential Citation, Major Battle Stars and Theater Ribbon.

Pfc. James E. Gotcher, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Gotcher, attended Powell Schools.  Entered service in 1943, trained with Air Corps at Atlanta City, New Jersey, Denver, Colorado, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Victoria, Kansas.  Now stationed in India.

Sgt. Edward W. Gowan, son of Mrs. Alice Gowan, husband of the former Miss Gladys Cockerell, attended Dearman School.  Entered service in 1942, trained with Army at Camp Barkley and Roswell, New Mexico.  Now on duty at Ft. Sill.

Ord, Calif.  Went overseas in 1943.  Served in New Guinea, New Zeland, Dutch Indies, Iwo Jima and in Northern Luzon.  Wounded in action in Luzon May, 1945.  Has Good Conduct Medal, 6 Battle Stars and Purple Heart.
