Pfc. Clovis E. Marsh, son of Mrs. A. Marsh, Navarro. Wife the former Mattie V. Compton. Attended Navarro High School. Entered service, 1942. Trained with the Army Air Corps at Waco and San Marcos. Now on duty at Kearns Field, Salt Lake City.

Pfc. William A. Marshall, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. I. Marshall.  Wife the former Inez Lauden.  Graduate of Kerens.  Engered service, 1942.  Trained with the Army at Camp Barkley.  Now on duty at Camp Bowie.  Marksmanship Medal and Good Conduct Ribbon.
MARTIN, GEORGE B.
Pvt. George B. Martin, son of Mrs. Dixie Martin, Blooming Grove.  Wife, the former Thelma Bettie Bailey.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, training at Wendovers Field, Utah, and Lowery Field, Denver, Colo.  Honorably discharged in April, 1943.

T/Sgt. Earl E. Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Martin, wife is the former Mary Hoover.  Graduate of Mildred High School.  Entered service, 1935.  Trained with 1st Cavalry at El Paso and Clarksville.  Served in Australia and New Guinea.  Among the first five to reach prison gates at Manila.  Wounded Feb. 1, at Manila.  Has Bronze Star.
MARTIN, HARVEY B.
S 2/C Harvey B. Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Martin, Corsicana.  Graduate of Powell Schools.  Entered service in 1945.  Trained with the Navy at San Diego.  Now on duty at Alameda, Calif.
MARTIN, J. T.
Pvt. J. T. Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sallie Martin, Zions Rest School.  Entered the service in 1942, training in Kentucky.  Received discharge in Nov. 1944.

Lt. George W. Martin, nephew of E. R. Martin.  Graduate of State Home School.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained in the Army at Camp Wolters.  Graduated from O.C.S. in France.  Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany where he is now on duty.
MARTIN, JOHN R.
Sgt. John R. Martin graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1937.  Trained with Inf. at Ft. Sam Houston, and Hawaii.  Served in Hawaii, Guadalcanal, New Zealand, New Georgia, Philippine Islands.  Discharged 1945.  Has Pre-Pearl Harbor and Good Conduct Ribbon, Combat Inf. Badge, Five Bronze Stars, Philippine Liberation Bar.

Lt. George W. Martin, graduate of State Home and S.H.S.T.C., entered service, 1943, training in the Army at Meridian, Miss., and Aberdeen, Maryland.  Served in England, Belgium, France, and is now on duty in Germany.  Has EAME Medal.

Cpl. John T. Martin, son of Mrs. Sallie Martin, wife, the former Gracie Lee Wilson.  Attended Angus Schools.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained with the Army at Ft. Knox.  Discharged in 1944.

MASSENGALE, RICHARD R.
Lt. Richard R. Massengale, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Massengale.  Blooming Grove, graduate of Blooming Grove Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army Air Corps at Santa Marie, Cal., Minter Field, Cal., commissioned at Luke Field, Phoenix, Arizona.  Sent overseas, 1943, completed 21 missions over North Africa before being killed in a crash Sept. 26, 1943.

T/Sgt. Marshall J. Massengale, son of Mr. W. M. Massengale, attended school in Corsicana.  Entered the Army in 1941, trained at Camp Roberts and Camp Beauregard.  Has served in Panama, Rome, North Appennine, and Po Valley Campaigns, now on duty in Italy.  Has 3 Battle Stars, Bronze Star and other Honors.
MASON, WILLIAM L.
S/Sgt. William L. Mason, son of Mr. Will Mason, Richardson, husband of the former Ruthie Vee Dees, attended school at Aransas Pass.  Entered service 1939, trained with Army at Ft. Sam Houston, and Camp McCoy.  Has served in Ireland, England, Belgium, France and Germany, now on duty in France.
MASON, BOB
SMC 2/C Bob Mason, son of Mr. John Mason, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered Navy in 1942, trained at San Diego.  Has served at Pearl Harbor, Midway for 28 months, now on duty in California.
MASON, TOMMY
S 2/C Tommy Mason, son of Mr. John Mason, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the service, 1943, trained with Navy at Kingsville and Corpus Christi, now on duty at San Diego.
MASSEY, WOODROW R.
Pvt. Woodrow R. Massey, son of Mr. John Massey and Mrs. Lillie Orr, husband of the former Miss Dorethea E. Lueck, Kerens, graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered the Air Corps June, 1944, trained at Sheppard Field, Texas, and Chanute Field, Ill.  Now on duty at Boca Raton, Floridal Holds Sharpshooter Medal.
MASSEY, WILLIAM G.
E.M. 2/C William G. Massey, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Massey, Powell, husband of the former Miss Lucy A. Brown, graduated from Powell High School.  Entered Navy, 1943, trained at Camp Peterson, Idaho.  Given Medical Discharge.

S 2/C Clinton H. Massey, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Massey, Powell, attended Powell High School.  Entered Navy, 1941, trained at Kingsville, Tex.  Has served on Hawaii and Guam, now on duty on Okinawa.
MASSEY, BERNARD E.
Pfc. Bernard E. Massey, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Massey, Powell, husband of the former Miss Martha Ronning, graduated from Powell High School.  Entered Army, 1939, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, receiving further training at Camp Ruston, La.
