MARTIN, GEORGE B.
Pvt. George B. Martin, son of Mrs. Dixie Martin, Blooming Grove.  Wife, the former Thelma Bettie Bailey.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, training at Wendovers Field, Utah, and Lowery Field, Denver, Colo.  Honorably discharged in April, 1943.

T/Sgt. Earl E. Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Martin, wife is the former Mary Hoover.  Graduate of Mildred High School.  Entered service, 1935.  Trained with 1st Cavalry at El Paso and Clarksville.  Served in Australia and New Guinea.  Among the first five to reach prison gates at Manila.  Wounded Feb. 1, at Manila.  Has Bronze Star.

MARTIN, JOHN R.
Sgt. John R. Martin graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1937.  Trained with Inf. at Ft. Sam Houston, and Hawaii.  Served in Hawaii, Guadalcanal, New Zealand, New Georgia, Philippine Islands.  Discharged 1945.  Has Pre-Pearl Harbor and Good Conduct Ribbon, Combat Inf. Badge, Five Bronze Stars, Philippine Liberation Bar.

Lt. George W. Martin, graduate of State Home and S.H.S.T.C., entered service, 1943, training in the Army at Meridian, Miss., and Aberdeen, Maryland.  Served in England, Belgium, France, and is now on duty in Germany.  Has EAME Medal.

Cpl. John T. Martin, son of Mrs. Sallie Martin, wife, the former Gracie Lee Wilson.  Attended Angus Schools.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained with the Army at Ft. Knox.  Discharged in 1944.

MASSENGALE, RICHARD R.
Lt. Richard R. Massengale, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Massengale.  Blooming Grove, graduate of Blooming Grove Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Army Air Corps at Santa Marie, Cal., Minter Field, Cal., commissioned at Luke Field, Phoenix, Arizona.  Sent overseas, 1943, completed 21 missions over North Africa before being killed in a crash Sept. 26, 1943.

Massengale, attended school in Corsicana.  Entered the Army in 1941, trained at Camp Roberts and Camp Beauregard.  Has served in Panama, Rome, North Appennine, and Po Valley Campaigns, now on duty in Italy.  Has 3 Battle Stars, Bronze Star and other Honors.

Lueck, Kerens, graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered the Air Corps June, 1944, trained at Sheppard Field, Texas, and Chanute Field, Ill.  Now on duty at Boca Raton, Floridal Holds Sharpshooter Medal.
