T/4 Glynn A. Massey, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Massey, Corsicana.  Trained with the 36th Division, 1941, at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding, Ft. Benning, Camp Edwards, Served in North Africa, Italy, and France.  Killed in action in France, 1945.  Has Purple Heart, Inf. Combat Badge, Good Conduct, ETO Ribbon, Pre-Pearl Harbor, Battle Stars.
MASSEY, ROY W. (BILL)
S 1/C Roy W. (Bill) Massey, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Massey, Corsicana, wife, the former Joyce M. Elliott.  Attended High School at Corsicana.  Entered Naval Reserves Oct. 16, 1943.  Trained at San Diego.  Served on Leyte, Guadalcanal, Luzon, Guam and other islands.  Now on duty in Pacific.  Awarded Good Conduct, PTO Ribbon with 3 Stars, Philippines Liberations.
MASSEY, CLARENCE C.
S 1/C Clarence C. Massey, son of Ollie Crocker, Kerens, and husband of the former Lydia Huff.  Attended Wilson School.  Entered the Navy, 1943, training at U.S.N.T.S., San Diego, Calif.  Now on duty at Morrow Bay, Calif.

S 1/C Wylie Lee Massey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Massey, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Bernice Carroll.  Graduate of Streetman Schools.  Entered services, 1944.  Trained with the Naval Air Corps at Oakland, Calif.
MASSEY, MORRIS L.
Pfc. Morris L. Massey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack C. Massey, Corsicana.  Attended Wortham High School.  Entered service, 1940.  Trained with the Army at Ft. Sill and Camp Polk.  Served in New Guinea and is now on duty in Philippines.  Has Good Conduct Ribbon and two Battle Stars.
MASSEY, FORRIS F.
Pfc. Forris F. Massey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack C. Massey, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Louise Bankston. Graduate of Wortham High School.  Entered service, 1941.  Trained in the Army at Ft. Knox, Ft. Benning, and Ft. Bragg.  Served in N. Africa, Sicily, Italy, and France.  Now discharged.  Has ETO Ribbon and 7 Stars, Good Conduct and Unit Citation.

Has ETO Ribbon, 4 Battle Stars, Good Conduct Ribbon.

Pvt. Alton Massey, son of Mrs. M. C. Massey, Corsicana.  Attended Kerens High School.  Entered the Army in Oct., 1942, trained at Camp Adair, Ore.  Received Medical Discharge in June, 1943.

S/Sgt. Theo J. Master, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theo Master, Sr. Wife, the former Inez Chapman.  Graduate of Hubbard Schools.  Entered service, 1939.  Trained with 2nd Inf. Div. of Army, Ft. Sill, Ft. Sam Houston, Camp McCoy.  Served in Ireland, England, Normandy Invasion.  Killed in action, 1944.  Received Purple Heart, Silver Star, Presidential Citation.
MATTHEWS, MICKEY J.
1st Lt. Mickey Matthews, Jr., son of Mike J. Matthews, graduate of Ben Hur High School, attended Denton College and Baylor University.  Entered the Air Corps, 1942, training at Blythe, Calic., Pecos, Tex., Nashville, Tenn., Yuma, Ariz., and Florence S.C.  Served in South Pacific Area and is now on duty in Philippines.

MAYO, ALVIE C.
Pvt. Alvie C. Mayo, son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Mayo, Kerens, husband of the former Miss France Chance, attended Kerens High School.  Entered Marine Corps April 3, 1945, trained at Parris Island, S.C. Now on duty at Camp LeJeune, N.C.
MAYO, AUBREY C.
Cpl. Aubrey C. Mayo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mayo, Kerens, husband of the former Miss Marie Stonefield, graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered Air Corps, Sept., 1942, trained at WAFS, Waco, Tex. Now on duty at WAFS.  Holds Medal for Good Conduct.
MAYO, DAYTON G.
Pvt. Dayton G. Mayo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mayo, Kerens, graduate from Kerens High School.  Mobilized with Texas Natl. Guard Nov., 1940, a member of Btry.  E.F.A. trained at Camp Bowie.  Sent to Java where he fought with the "Lost Battalion" until he was captured by Japs and made prisoner when Java fell.  Still held by Japs in prison camp.
MAYO, ROY A., JR.
Sgt. Roy A. Mayo, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Mayo, Sr., attended Kerens High School.  Entered Air Corps Nov. 1, 1942, trained at WAFS, Waco.  Now on duty at Ontario, Calif.  Has Good Conduct Medal.

Pacific.

Pfc. George A. Mayo, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Mayo, Sr., husband of the former Miss Mildred Sharrer.  Entered Army Med. Corps, trained at Camp Carsons, Colo., Ft. Riley, Kansas and various other camps in U.S. Has served in ETO, now on duty at Camp Philadelphia.
