Benning, Camp Edwards, Served in North Africa, Italy, and France.  Killed in action in France, 1945.  Has Purple Heart, Inf. Combat Badge, Good Conduct, ETO Ribbon, Pre-Pearl Harbor, Battle Stars.

Pvt. Alton Massey, son of Mrs. M. C. Massey, Corsicana.  Attended Kerens High School.  Entered the Army in Oct., 1942, trained at Camp Adair, Ore.  Received Medical Discharge in June, 1943.

Sam Houston, Camp McCoy.  Served in Ireland, England, Normandy Invasion.  Killed in action, 1944.  Received Purple Heart, Silver Star, Presidential Citation.

Guard Nov., 1940, a member of Btry.  E.F.A. trained at Camp Bowie.  Sent to Java where he fought with the "Lost Battalion" until he was captured by Japs and made prisoner when Java fell.  Still held by Japs in prison camp.
