Ft. Lewis, Wash. Served in Africa, Italy, Sicily,

Discharged in May, 1945. |

former Charles Esther Dawson. Attended Corsicana High
School. Mobilized with National Guard and trained with 36th
Division of Army at Camp Bowie, Brownwood. Captured in Java,
1942, and is still a prisoner of the Japs on Kyushu Island, Japan.
